Hello - final thread is now live here thanks

Audreyblue Fri 21-Mar-14 10:03:36

Hello all - sorry I too had to rush off without saying goodbye as I had to do the school run. Only just made it in time! Thank you to Mumsnet and Pruvitality for an amazing massage and a lovely lunch. These two months have been great and a real eye-opening experience.

I am still taking advantage of my few extra days in the gym and pool and have been twice this week. I will really miss going sad

It was lovely to meet you all again and would be up for another get together!

AnnMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 21-Mar-14 08:11:46

Hi - yep one more lot of feedback to come - just finalising the questions - will email when it's ready (will be a new thread)

CointreauVersial Thu 20-Mar-14 22:37:12

Still going with the gym - did a killer Body Pump class this evening, and can feel myself seizing up. What I wouldn't give for a massage right now....grin

Willemdefoeismine Thu 20-Mar-14 07:46:59

Yes, it all seems to have gone very quiet since Friday....

Aren't we supposed to do one more lot of feedback....???

Bagtrainlady Thu 20-Mar-14 06:38:53

I can sympathize Stripey - felt like I was parked on the M1 for a lot of the journey home - but it doesn't sound as epic a journey as yours!

My shoulder & back still feel amazing after my massage, so a very big thank you to the lovely Pauline at Champneys. It feels almost normal - I wholeheartedly agree with Kew that we should have regular revisits!

I am still eaking(sp?) out my gym membership though I have now caught ds's cold so not really in the mood to exercisesad. On the plus side I will be able to take dd for her birthday swim as promised.

I am missing my updates & hearing what you all have to say. It's been an amazing 8 weeks

Willemdefoeismine Tue 18-Mar-14 20:29:40

What a hideous trip home for you Stripytop....well done for losing 1/2 a stone! Good on you!

Nice try, Kew! Yes an annual one would be good!

What's happened to the final feedback???? Alas poor gym membership I knew it well.....missing it already!

Kewcumber Tue 18-Mar-14 11:18:30

I suggest that we have an annual reunion at CHampneys. Or quarterly. OR maybe once a month.

Can you fix that AnnMumsnet?

Stripytop Tue 18-Mar-14 09:44:06

Sorry didn't get to say goodbye to you all. Decided to leave early in case of traffic, but it still took me 5 hours to get home! Nearly undid all the benefits of that glorious massage. Champneys was lovely tho, Can i live there please?

Would be good to stay in touch and keep motivated. I lost half a stone during the last 2 months, so am going to try to keep at it.

Willemdefoeismine Sat 15-Mar-14 08:22:39

Such a perfect day. Fabulous to see everyone and catch up.

Have a chilled weekend - I still feel as if I'm floating on air after the massage - and yes, would be good to have our own quiche (now I know what it is in the Mumsnet vernacular!wink).

CointreauVersial Fri 14-Mar-14 23:37:33

What a perfect day! I didn't leave until 5.50pm - I could have happily stayed for the weekend. It was lovely to catch up with the "Vitality Ten" (we so need our own quiche once this is all finished smile ).

Kewcumber Fri 14-Mar-14 08:26:18

I'm driving after school drop off so hope to be there by 10am M25 willing

AnnMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 14-Mar-14 08:14:20

See you all (again) shortly! grin

Bagtrainlady Fri 14-Mar-14 00:06:26

In fact I'm so sad I've just gone & checked Gwenstacey's list from the original meet up & all 10 of us are still posting!

Bagtrainlady Fri 14-Mar-14 00:01:34

All ready for tomorrow - I think! I'm driving as it was too tricky to do the train. No idea what one wears to a spa day so any suggestions gratefully received. I feel fitter & a bit more toned but the weight isn't exactly melting off (could be those chips I had earlier - though I am eating so much healthier than I was.) I do also feel more energetic & I can plank for over a minute easy which I certainly couldn't when I started.

Looking forward to seeing you all - pretty sure we are all still here - who did we lose?

CointreauVersial Thu 13-Mar-14 23:51:04

There were ten of us at the start, for sure (I counted...).

Well, I'm currently snuggled in my childhood bed, a mere 6 miles from Champneys, so I hope I'll be there in good time. See you tomorrow.

(yes, Tesla, I'm feeling the benefits.....certainly fitter and maybe a pound or two lighter).

WalkingThePlank Thu 13-Mar-14 23:20:32

Willem I was asking in case there were separate entrances for Spa, Hotel etc. I thought there were more than 8 of us too. I thought there were 10 actually.

Telsa To my shame, I actually feel less fit now than I have for several years. Oh dear. How embarrassing.

telsa Thu 13-Mar-14 22:58:08

So come on ladies, are you feeling fit, fabulous, trim, healthy. Have you shed weight, toned your bits Tec.... I want to know!

Willemdefoeismine Thu 13-Mar-14 21:43:10

Glad to hear you're feeling good Kew....

A bientot!

smallinthesmoke Thu 13-Mar-14 20:57:51

Hello! Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. I'm so excited, haven't had a facial in years, what a treat! I'm aiming for a train from Euston which gets in at 0923 so will look around for anyone else on that train who might like to share a taxi.
Glad you are feeling better Kewcumber, think you deserve a spa trip this week.

Kewcumber Thu 13-Mar-14 18:56:35

it wasn't me... I did survive the bad reaction to the drugs on Monday - honest!

Willemdefoeismine Thu 13-Mar-14 18:50:11

Just realised - have we lost someone by the way - Ann says 8 participants upthread but weren't there 9 of us???

Willemdefoeismine Thu 13-Mar-14 18:47:58

No - Reception would make sense though!

WalkingThePlank Thu 13-Mar-14 17:02:15

Has anyone received anything to say where we should report to tomorrow?

GwenStacy Thu 13-Mar-14 16:38:08

yay Kew, hope you're feeling okay smile I can get trains that get in to Berkhamsted at 9.33 or 9.42 if anyone will be on those trains smile
