I really like this. It is an easy device to work and, because it stays upright all the time, there is no danger of spilling the cleaning fluid. It is nice to be able to use a paper towel or tissue as well as cleaning cloths for odd drips and spills. I have used it on ceramic sinks, brushed stainless steel and also on varnished wood and it cleans well on all those surfaces.
On mirrors and other glass surfaces I followed the clean with the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner with a buff with a dry cloth to get a really good shine.
It has a nice - subtle - fragrance and seems to do the job well.
I hope it will be available with a refill to cut down on waste, in which case I would definitely buy it for use in my home.

I received a bottle of the Mr Muscle Bathroom and Toilet Touch-Up Cleaner on Saturday, and have used it a couple of times now.

I really liked how easy it is to use, and it is effective too. I used it on the walls (that are tiled from floor to ceiling) and don't get cleaned constantly so were a bit grubby if I'm honest. The tiles came up sparkling clean.

Also had a good result using this around the toilet, sink and bath. There was a smudge of dried toothpaste (thanks dc's!) that this cleaner tackled with ease. Haven't got much glass in the bathroom, so tried it on a big mirror - no streaks, as promised on the bottle. The scent of this isn't as strong as other bathroom cleaners, which is a good thing in a small space. A little of this on a cloth or tissue goes a long way. I liked that the bottle has a lockable feature on it so younger children would find it difficult to accidentally spray themselves. I would recommend this to friends and family.

One of these specifically for glass and mirrors would be handy, but not entirely necessary as the bathroom variant worked well.

Received Bathroom cleaner on Saturday and this link today. First impressions...liked the shape. Good chunky container which will not keep falling over when half used like the usual tall thin ones.
Ideal for bathroom. Easy to give the toilet a wipe round. Also brilliant for all those spots of toothpaste that my family manage to spray over basins, tiles, mirrors and floor. Using toilet tissue means it can be simply flushed away after use.
How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Very easy.
How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Very effective so far.
How often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Using as a spot cleaner, so far I have given a little wipe around whenever I pop into the bathroom rather than a full clean of the bathroom.
Do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not?
Yes I would buy it again. The price seems reasonable, it does the job, and is easy to use.
Yes I will tell friends and family about this trial and will recommend it

MaryIngalls · 19/08/2013 13:26

Pretty bottle, did not burst/ spill when DD dropped it. Like the dispenser, though not sure whether it will evaporate if I leave it unlocked. Have tried it on bathroom basin and mirror, using a microfiber cloth. The basin and chrome tap shone nicely, the mirror was less of a success, perhaps it needed a bit more elbow grease, but I was in a hurry. As the name suggests, it's good for touch ups in-between proper cleans.

Lilyloo · 19/08/2013 13:32

Marking my place on the thread for when the touch up cleaner arrives .

mummylin2495 · 19/08/2013 13:50

WeAreEternal · 19/08/2013 15:03

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

I found it to be very easy to use. I liked the simplicity of just having to push on the top to get the cleaner out, instead of having to fiddle around opening bottles. I also liked that I could use toilet paper with it (I got the bathroom cleaner).

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very effective. I mainly use to to wipe around the loo (there re 4 males in my house so quite few 'dribbles'!), it cleanse around the toilet very well and leaves a pleasant smell. I've also used it to freshen up the sink, to be honest, I didn't think it'd work well enough to clean toothpaste off etc but it did. I also used it on the black tiles which I have in my bathroom, it cleaned away water marks and left no streaks.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes, I would say so. Purely because it was left on the window sill and was much more accessible than the other bottles of cleaner, which are hidden away because they're not very attractive, whereas the Mr Muscle cleaner is pretty inoffensive to look at.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I'm not sure...£2.99 is more than I generally spend on a single cleaning product but at the same time, I see this product to be similar to cleaning wipes but would last a lot longer. I'd be more likely to buy if the price was slightly cheaper, I think.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I can't think of anywhere else I'd use it at the moment.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I liked the design! It doesn't have I'm A Cleaning Product written all over the front and isn't garish at all. I don't mind it sitting on my window where it's easily within reach.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would. Perhaps moreso the kitchen version for cooking spills, where I think it'd be prticularly handy.

Really enjoyed taking part in this trial, thanks!
RedKites · 19/08/2013 15:14

Just saw this thread and thought Sad didn't get picked, then checked my junk mail and discovered I have been Smile . It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm currently stuck at home potty training, so it's likely to get plenty of use when it gets here!

joolzy · 19/08/2013 15:33

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Easy to use and effective. Due to it being out in the bathroom I have used it more often than I would do a fullclean.
I have found it particularly good during potty training, to clean up both the potty and any splashes around the seat n loo. Also in the sink after teeth cleaning by littles.
I think its reasonably priced and would buy the kitchen one.
It has helped me keep the bathroom cleaner between full cleans which helps.
I would mention it to friends/family, especially its innovative design.

Thanks

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

I received the bathroom and toilet one. It sits on top of the toilet cistern and is a nice attractive chunky pale blue bottle so I don't mind it on show and therefore it's easily accessible. Can be used with toilet roll for a quick wipe round.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Just as good as my usual cleaners. It smells pleasant enough too.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes I will use this more regularly than my other cleaning products simply because it is easily accessible and can sit on top of toilet cistern. My other cleaners are in bigger bottles and not so aesthetically pleasing. This product's packaging is compact, simple and modest.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Yes but probably only if it's on offer. Have 3 toilets in our house and would need product in each one to be fully effective.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

Bit baffled as to why this product should not be used inside toilet bowl, yet can be used in other toilet areas. Assume this could be because it's not to be mixed with other household cleaners. However, think it would be useful to be able to use this product inside the toilet bowl.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Packaged neatly so product can sit discreetly and modestly in a corner of cloakroom / bathroom.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would. It's quick and effective to use.

Just used mine and am pleased with how clean it made the bathroom look.
I am not sure it would last too long as I had to use a lot but overall it is a good product.

MsInterpret · 19/08/2013 19:35

Marking place too. Waiting for mine!

HoneyDragon · 19/08/2013 19:40

Got mine. Only used it quickly so will come back. Thus far

I like the smell

I'm not keen on the packaging, it looks a bit cheap and like something you'd find in the DIY shop for unblocking your drains. Which is a shame as the actual bottle is very pretty.
