sad

Yummymummy21amy Thu 11-Jul-13 12:11:37

just had my in the post today cant wait to try them out with my DS just a shame my DS size come with dora on as the others have bob the builder on as thats his favorite thing at the moment

5madthings Thu 11-Jul-13 12:19:31

Mine arrived the other day. Not used them yet but will in next week or so. Dd is VERY impressed that they have dora and diego on the front and all the animals on the back smile

NotDoris Thu 11-Jul-13 12:26:04

Got mine today too. DS has no idea who Dora is, but they look nice. I especially like the tab on the back to keep it folded closed after use, my own brand ones don't have that!

manfalou Thu 11-Jul-13 14:37:09

Mine arrived today... When DS gets back from grannies he'll be popping some on! Lets start the potty training journey! (Wish me luck!)

Penny6Pence Thu 11-Jul-13 14:50:27

My pack arrived today. Will get DD using them in the coming days and be back with feedback asap.

Mine arrived today, all good so far 😄

snowymum12 Thu 11-Jul-13 19:27:44

I've been using mine for just a couple of days and am completely impressed already. They are so much easier than regular nappies for my extremely wriggly 11 month old and hold in the wetness brilliantly. So far, so good!!

FairyJen Thu 11-Jul-13 19:34:27

I can start off as have had the nappies for a couple of days now smile

My ds is nearly 14months and we had size 6 (ds is closer in size to a 24 month old - I breed giants! blush )

Q1 my initial impression was they looked quite small compared to the "normal" pampers we used, however when I put them on they fit really well. Dd who is 6 was also very taken with the Dora design grin

I wanted to trial these as ds is a nightmare every nappy change. He won't stay still, he used to pull open the tabs or crawl away with only one side fastened. Sometimes it really was a two person job to get him changed. The result of this was frequent leaks day and night as the nappies were not on correctly.

Well no more! These pull ups are like heaven! No harder than putting his trousers on. He steps into them and then I just pull them up- or vice versa! Nappy changes now only take 2 min and it feels like an enormous relief, plus ( touch wood ) he has not leaked yet! On this basis I will be making these my nappy of choice!

q2 partly already answered but yes very easy to use and changes are a lot quicker now although I did get an unexpected shower when he worked out how to pull them back down grin

q3 with dd I used the huggies version. I like these however for some reason ds gets nappy rash with huggies nappies so its not an option. Pampers are as good as this brand in my opinion in both quality and function.

q4 I already have recommended these to a school mum with a similar aged dd for all the reasons outlined above. Her dd is ready for potty training and I have said these are a fantastic alternative to pants and are easy to get on and off.

q4 they are good value for money as they have made my life that bit easier and less stressful however I'm slightly annoyed they are a few quid more expensive than their other nappies. In the size 6 you only get 19 in a pack so they do seem to be at the top end of the pricing scale compared to other brands.

Overall I'm very happy with these and will buy them in the future, that being said I can see myself reverting back to their other nappies on the days when money is a bit tight. smile

FairyJen Thu 11-Jul-13 19:35:11

That last one should be q5 blush

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt Thu 11-Jul-13 21:02:08

Q1 A great pull up. You can tell that they are a high quality brand from the feel and fit of them. On quite a flippant note, even though ds couldn't care less what design is on the nappy I do think the current characters on the nappies are a bit out of date.

Q2 I like the convenience of being able to change wet nappies standing up. However I think the sticky tab for rolling up the used nappy is pointless when it comes to poo nappies - the poo isn't contained.

Q3 I have used Pampers, Huggies, Nature Care and Sainsbury's own pull ups. Huggies have changed their product line so their pull ups are now ££££. Nature Care don't fit very well. Sainsburys don't have a very good wee capacity and they are cut quite slim compared to other brands. In conclusion, Pampers are the best for price (as long as I buy them when they are on offer), fit and keeping dry.

Q4 yes i would recommend them, see the above conclusion smile

Q5 I can't say that they are value for money because they are more expensive than side tab nappies and at the end of the day they both do the same job - catch wee and poo!

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants?

Much easier for nappy changes on a wriggly 2 year old. Being able to put them on while my toddler is standing up is a bonus. Looked very similar to a normal Pampers nappy.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

As above, easier to put on toddler than a regular nappy and DD seemed just as comfortable as in her normal nappy.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children?

First time using any type of pull up.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents?

Yes I would, but only if needed for ease of changing compared to regular nappy. Otherwise I still like Pampers Baby Dry the best.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They do seem pretty expensive to me and it would put me off to be honest. I can't help but think you are paying extra for the Nickelodeon characters printed on there. I would buy them if they are on offer though.

FannyFifer Thu 11-Jul-13 21:28:19

Yay, mine came today.

Holfin Thu 11-Jul-13 21:29:14

Oops I forgot to say I tried size 4 Easy Ups on my 2 year old DD.

MonsterBookOfTyRexs Thu 11-Jul-13 23:27:14

I am still waiting for mine although I have something at the post office so maybe it is the easy up pants rather than the uni book I need grin

AmIGoingMad Thu 11-Jul-13 23:32:23

Just received them today so will get started testing tomorrow!

morethanmama Thu 11-Jul-13 23:39:08

Our Dora pants have arrived and were carried upstairs for me by ds.
He is 2.4 and dry during the day. These are my cunning plan for dry at night grin. I intend to put him in them and a potty in his room and see how he gets on!!! Will feedback.

1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

i lovee these nappies, so much easier to get on my baby. he is ever so wiggly and i struggled with the strap on ones. i am not looking back. im sold.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
very easy and very convenient. its is pants! strap him down and wack them up. love it!
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? no i havent but i must say i had to keep checking to see if the nappies were full unless the other ones i used i could see the nappy almost dragging to the floor cos they are heavy
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? i will defintely recomment. it is easy, it is super absorbent, it is mega onvenient and there are deals in supermarket. i actually purchased one before the nappioes arrived.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? it is pricey but as i mentioned earlier, there are always deals on and coupons. i guess it is pricey cos its really great

Tested size 5 pack on my 2yo dd

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Brilliant nappies, absorbent, and help my dd learn to pull them up by herself (she is getting there!)
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Very convienient, will be starting potty training soon so these nappies will be useful!

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Yes, have used mamia pull up nappies, and the pampers one have a much better fit for the same size, the mamia ones kept leaving red marks.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
would definitely recomend
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost

Fairly good yes.

Have also done review and completed survey. smile

Q1: very easy to use, but I found that they weren't as absorbent as traditional nappies. Expensive considering the quality.

Q2: they are convenient to use on a wriggling toddler!

Q3: I have used pull ups before on my other children and unfortunately haven't seen much improvement in the quality re leaking over the years, and I change them regularly.

Q4: I would recommend them for ease of use but would warn to watch for leaks and do find them expensive.

Q5: the price is prohibitive, and can be off putting. I have found the Aldi Mamia brand to be far superior and much better value for money.

AllThatGlistens Fri 12-Jul-13 10:54:17

Bugger, should have said, used them on DS 2 in the size 6! grin

DawnOfTheDee Fri 12-Jul-13 10:55:56

Mine only came yesterday. We're going to start with them in a few days.

sillymillyb Fri 12-Jul-13 10:58:18

Just marking my place for later when on the computer! Nappies arrived yesterday so looking forward to putting them on ds - the reviews so far make them sound perfect for wriggly boy!

ChunkyPickle Fri 12-Jul-13 11:04:00

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very thick (more than his normal Pampers), didn't look much like pants, were too tough for him to take off himself. They did work as well as nappies though

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

No I didn't - I found them harder to cleanly wrap up (after poo accident), harder to put on than normal nappies, and just generally more hassle than they need to be. DS stands a chance when he can undo tabs, but he just couldn't push these down at all.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Training pants yes, pull-ups no. I preferred the training pants because they were thinner (and if I'm changing an accident, then changing trousers as well isn't much hassle)

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No I wouldn't - I don't see the advantage over proper nappies or proper pants. If he wants to feel like a big boy then he can use normal pants - I think that this halfway house doesn't help either of us.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Not really good value - I'll stick to normal nappies (if I want to pretend they are pulllups then I can just do up the tabs
