  1. i was neutral before trying.
  2. i do use wipes for quick cleans in the bathroom as they are convenient and quick.

3.i tried them in the bathroom and kitchen. i was disappointed with the actual material of the wipe - very flimsy and were screwed up and useless very quickly - lots of product on there but wasted as the wipe was so insubstantial.
  1. as 2.
  2. wipes very moist, smelt fine, packaging fine but again let down by being so flimsy and insubstantial.
  3. i put them with paper waste

7.no. as i've said in 3 and 5.
8.if i only went on these wipes it would be negative.

  1. No I hadn't used any products before. I always thought that Ecover products might not work as well as 'standard' products.

  1. Yes I do use them - mainly for convenience

  1. I used them on toilets, high chair, dining table. Yes they did do the job

  1. Very important - I always use anti bacterial products

  1. The packaging was great, it had all the right information. I loved the fragrance! It really appealed to me and is different from all the other dull wipes around. Yes the wipes did retain the moisture. The only problem I found was that they were quite small for cleaning - could definitely do with being larger.

  1. I threw them in the bin. Not a problem if not flushable. No I would not put them on a compost heap or with food waste!

  1. Yes, I definitely would recommend this products and will buy some other Ecover products to try

  1. Yes it has. I feel that the other products must be effective!

  1. 4 (marked down because they are a bit too small)

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
We have used Ecover products before. I like the eco-friendly ethos but I've found that Bio-D and Method products were better at cleaning.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
I wasn't using wipes already, mainly because they cost a lot more than using a spray and a cloth. I do like wipes for certain areas though (e.g. toilet seat, dd2's padded toilet seat)

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
Yes, we mainly used them in the bathroom for the toilet and quick wipes round. It was really handy having them in the bathroom just for a quick wipe and came in particularly useful last night when dd1 was ill and managed to cover the toilet in sick. They were very foamy though so I wasn't sure whether I needed to waipe it all over with a damp cloth after (defeats the object of using wipesif you do) and I had to use a few because they were small.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
I'm not too fussed tbh. I choose products for cleaning ability.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
The packaging was easy to use and I thik it had enough information. I really liked the fragrance, that was one of the main selling points for me. I tend to find a lot of wipes smell like cleaning products but these were a lot more pleasant. They definitely had enough moisture and lots of foam but were a little on the small side.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
Oh I put them in the bin. I didn't realise I could put them in the compost bin Blush. I think if I was using them downstairs then I'd stick them in the kitchen caddy with food waste to go into the compost bin when full. Upstairs, using them in the bathroom, I'd probably just chuck them in the bin for convenience and because I think I'd find it a little odd putting something I'd cleaned the loo with in the composter Confused. It would be good if you could flush them but I'd see it as an extra bonus not a necessity.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
Possibly. I definitely liked the scent but the wipes were a little small, so I had to use a few for each job. It would have been more convenient to use one larger wipe. I'd possibly recommend them - definitely recommend the frangrance but would mention that they are quite small.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
I don't know. There were good points and bad points to the wipes but I'd possibly buy more from Ecover if it came in the pomegranate scent.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
i'd give a 4.

  1. I have used ecover sporadically in the past as a nod to trying be a bit greener. It is one of a number of brands I might buy.
  2. I don't use wipes at present partly because it seems rather wasteful (better to use a spray and a washable cloth) and partly because they can be pricey.
  3. I have only used the wipes on my changing mat at present but will use them elsewhere. They cleaned up effectively and didn't leave things too damp so I was able to use the changing mat quite promptly afterwards. Was suprised to find that I really liked the smell.
  4. Pretty important; it means that I don't have to worry about doing anything else after cleaning with them.
  5. Very happy with them. Packaging was clear and easy to open. Smell was lovely; they were very moist but not too much (I was able to use them to clear some liquid as well).
  6. I put the wipes in my nappy bin. It would be helpful if they were flushable but it's not vital.
  7. Yes, would recommend depending on price.
  8. I have in the past thought of ecover as environmentally friendly but not as effective as other brands. This product has changed my mind.
  9. 4/5. I found them substantial and effective. Really need to know price for a final judgement!

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

Honestly - slightly "worthy" and not very effective cleaning products, which I had never tried

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

No, I don't - because they seem like an expensive way of buying cleaner and an environmental nightmare because most wipes are not bio-degradable.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Mostly in the kitchen, although I think they may gravitate to the bathroom(s) for ad hoc cleaning as I think that is where having a pack of wipes would be most useful. They seemed to do a pretty good job, even leaving granite surfaces reasonably streak-free, and I randomly decided that they were mild enough to use on our precious wooden kitchen table, on which they seemed to do a good job too.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Yes, it's important - and has been more so in the last week or so as we all had food poisoning so I was anti-bac cleaning everything to within an inch of it's life

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

I was pleasantly surprised - packet has held up OK, still closes fine, etc. Fragrance is pleasant and inoffensive. Wipes remain moist, but are somewhat less strong than (for example) kitchen towel - but that is a trade off with the biodegradable aspect, I assume, which I am prepared to accept.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I did put them in the bin, but might put them on the compost heap in future (if used in the kitchen - ones used in the bathroom would end up in the bin anyway, TBH). We have a septic tank which is somewhat tempramental at the best of times, so I would not have considered flushing them and it's not an issue.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Actually, this is the first cleaning product trial I have done (and I have done several) where I would consider buying them in the future - normally I try things and then revert to supermarket own brand anti-bac spray. I cannot imagine the conversation that they would come up in, but I would give, if asked, the same feedback I have here.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Brand perception has improved - but I am not sure that neccesarily equates to buying other products in the range [stick in the mud] - although I guess I would be more likely to consider them if they were on special offer than I would have been previously.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

  1. Although I had heard of Ecover, I had never been inclined to try the products.

  1. I currently use Dettol antibacterial wipes as part of my cleaning regime. They are useful for cleaning high chairs, surfaces, toilet and bathroom areas - just about everywhere really! Main reason being that they are convenient! No messing about with sprays and kitchen towels. Although I do use spray and kitchen towels if I'm doing a deeper clean. Wipes are good for a quick wipe over.

  1. I replaced my normal wipes with the Ecover ones and they seemed to do the job. I felt my usual wipes were slightly better as they are thicker and not as flimsy.

  1. It's really important for wipes to have antibacterial properties. Especially with two young children picking things up from the table/floors to put in their mouths to eat - especially dropped food!

  1. The packaging was nice. Easy on the eye and pleasant to look at. I like the fragrance - it didn't smell too strong and too "chemically". It was slightly too moist for my liking though.

  1. The wipes went into the household waste bins. I wouldn't put the wipes down the toilet even if they were flushable.

  1. I would buy again in the future as I like the smell and they did the job. I would also recommend to friends as a good antibacterial wipe to use.

  1. The wipes have made me see Ecover in a positive way. It will make me more likely to us other E over products in the future.

  1. I would give the wipes a 3. The wipes were slightly too moist and small. Would work better if they were slightly thicker. I had to use two or three more wipes that usual to do the same job.

Thank you for letting me try these.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I like the Ecover washing up liquid. I use it above any other. I like the idea that they make products that don't harm the environment.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I have used wipes. They are very easy and quick.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I cleaned my bathroom with them. They did the job well, especially getting dry toothpaste off.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

It's very important because when I clean I want things to be ok for toddlers to put hands on surfaces and then in their mouths.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was pretty standard. I didn't really think anything of it. The fragrance was mild so didn't annoy me. The wipes were very frothy so I had to wipe everything down afterwards but that did allow me to see how everything was clean. They are also far too small. They need to be twice the size and less frothy.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in the bin. I would have put them in the compost if I'd thought I could. It doesn't bother me that they're not flushable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes I would buy them depending on the price. I would recommend them to friends.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

My perception of the brand is the same.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

Probably 3.5

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I have not used any Ecover products before this test. I did not really have an opinion on the brand other than they are more expensive than what I would normally buy.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
No I do not currently use wipes as part of my cleaning regime. This is because I find they do not work as well as a spray or just washing up liquid and a scourer. For the price I do not think they are value for money because a bottle of ant-bacterial multipurpose cleaner and scourer last much longer.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
When using these wipes in my kitchen I did not really find them substantial enough for the amount of mess there was. I must have used around 6-7 wipes just to get the hob on my oven clean, and even then it was not as clean as it would have been using just a scourer and some washing up liquid. Again using it on kitchen surfaces needed more than I would expect to use, I would get through a pack in a week at the rate I was using them up.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
I find the fact they are anti-bacterial quite important, I already use an anti-bacterial spray for multipurpose cleaning.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
I though the packaging was easy to use and had all the needed information. The fragrance was nice but could only really smell it when taking the wipes out of the packaging, once the wipes had started to be used I did not notice the fragrance. I think the wipes would retain enough moisture on relatively clean surfaces surfaces but for heavily soiled surfaces I was using them on they did not. I think they would be more useful as just a wipe over after you have cleaned, not for actually cleaning.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
I just disposed of the wipes in the bin. It does not bother me that they are not flushable however if they were specific for bathroom use this may be more important. It said on the packaging to always dispose of using a bin, therefore I would not have even considered they would be okay to put in a compost heap or food waste.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
I would not buy this product in the future and would also not recommend it to a friend. As a cleaning wipe I do not think it worked that well. They would be suitable for wiping over relatively clean surfaces but do not do what they say on the packaging about getting through grease and grime.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
No, my perception of the brand is the same, that you are paying more for inferior products because they are eco-friendly.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
I would give them a 2 star rating as for me they did not do what they said on the packet.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

Never used products before and never considered, don't know why.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes always use wipes for convenience.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Used them in the kitchen, dining room, tables, bathroom, kids bedroom, toys.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Very important. Always use anti bac products.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging was easy to use and attractive. All info needed was there. The fragrance was lovely and was the main reason for me wanting to try them. Wipes were full of moisture and foamed up nicely. Was very impressed.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

Popped them in the bin. Never thought to put on the compost heap. Not a prob that they are not flush able.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes will def try more products and recommend to friends. Like how safe they are, fingers in mouths after touching wiped surface is not a prob.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Yes. Would say products are as good, if not better than leading brand.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I love Ecover products - I came to them expecting them to be less effective than non-green products and was pleasantly surprised, on the whole.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes, for convenience, although i feel a bit guilty about them being less eco-friendly. I also love the fact that they're safer, with kids in the house. I do keep all our cleaning products in a high cupboard out of the kids' reach but wipes totally remove the danger.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Kitchen table, door handles, toilet seat, potty, place lats (not with the same wipe, I hasten to add !!)

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

It's a bonus but not something I absolutely look for.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Yes, packaging fine. Loved the fragrance. They stayed very moist - almost too moist in fact.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

In the bin - I don't have a compost heap otherwise I'd put them on there. When used for the toilet or potty, I would appreciate having a flushable wipe but it's not indispensable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes and yes - they're a great product for convenience and effectiveness.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

No, it confirmed what I already knew. Ecover provide eco-friendly options that are just as good as the non-green brands.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I have used the washing up liquid before. I tend to buy what ever's on offer, but I would like to be greener.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I do use wipes in my kitchen and on the dining room table because they are convenient and so easy to use as a quick clean up.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I tested mine in my kitchen and dining room as I would normally use them. They did the job very well.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

I do like the idea that my kitchen surfaces are clean for preparing food.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was easy to open and I liked the fragrance, not too overpowering. The wipes were lovely and moist.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I disposed of my wipes in the bin as I wasn't aware they could go in the compost bin! I will do that from now on with the rest of the pack. I wouldn't have flushed them even if they were flushable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I would use the wipes again if the price was reasonable. I would recommend them as they do everything they claim to.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I didn't really have a perception of the brand. But now I know they perform as well as brands I have previously used I am impressed.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I would give them a 4/5 as I would like to know the price of them.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I'd used the washing up liquid before, which had irritated the eczema on my hands. I was therefore a bit sceptical about trying these.
  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes for the convenience factor
  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I cleaned a muddy floor, really easily. The kitchen tops and outside of the bin looked good after a quick rub, and the bathroom toilets looked fresh and clean
  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Whilst I believe a little bit of dirt won't kill you, I have 2 under 5 and they are grubby children. Grin I believe my house needs a few anti-bac products
  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

I found the packet easily resealable and the wipes moist. Fragrance wasn't over powering
  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

They went in the bin, we don't have a compost heap.
  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

If they were on offer. I am a skinflint
  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I would use the wipes again, perception of the brand hasn't changed.
  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I would give 4, (5 if they were a bit cheaper)

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before? I had only used the washing up liquid previously which i Had liked but not got in the habit of using, probaly due to the feeling that you pay a premium for their eco-credentials. Thoughts and feelings wise I was generally positive towards the brand but wondered whether something lacking the power-chemicals could be effective enough.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons? I got in the habit of using wipes a while ago but have eased off recently. I like wipes because they are very convenient, though I wonder whether they are damaging/drying to the skin on my hands.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job? I have used my wipes mainly in the kitchen and dining room, and once in the bathroom. I liked what they did on the kitchen surfaces and on the (old) wooden table we eat from. I also used them on the sinks and taps and felt they came up clean. I didn't use them on the toilet as I've never been in the habit of using wipes on the toilet as I feel that by using one on the toilet it contaminates the rest of the pack! I know this is madness and irrational but I can't help feeling that way! Maybe a pack designed for toilet only use is required!

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene? Yes, very important wipes are anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria. I would question the point of using them otherwise. I have a dog and young children and like to know everything is really clean, not just looking it.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done? I liked the packaging though prefer packs which have a plastic "clippable-shut" fastening to prevent the contents drying out. It said to store them top facing downwards to prevent this happening but that feels a bit cheap. I liked the fragrance. For me there should be a bit more moisture to get the job done, they "ran out" quite quickly.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem? I threw them in the bin, I didn't realise they were biodegradable. I have a compost heap and might put them in there if I realised though chucking them in the bin is a lot easier than trekking to the compost heap .

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why? Whether I would buy them depends on how the price compriced to other comparable products. I'd probably recommend them , it's the slightly smug feeling of using eco-friendly products along with the fact that I liked the smell and product itself genrally.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how? My perception is changed in that I felt that eco-friendly products must very watery and insipid but I din't find these so.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what
would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
I'd say 4.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I use the washing up liquid and really like it. I have used the dishwasher products (tablets and rinse aid) in the past but didn't find them very good.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I have a three year old and almost two year old, we use A LOT of wipes, mostly for cleaning up after mealtimes (floor, table, high chair) for speed and convenience

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Floor, tabletop, high chair. I found them generally too small and too frothy and had to use more than I would normally use to get the job done.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

I like to use anti-bac on the high chair, not too worried about it anywhere else. My usual brand is anti-bac but I consider that an added bonus not a necessity.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging was fine, I didn't like the fragrance. It was lime and pomegranate but smelled of neither, I prefer my wipes to smell "bleachy" not "chemically fruity"

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

We don't have a compost bin, I put them in the normal rubbish.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Not these wipes, no, I didn't like the smell, had to use too many as they were small and too damp. I felt I needed to wipe with kitchen roll to remove the froth after cleaning.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Hasn't changed my perception but I don't rank these wipes anywhere near as highly as the washing up liquid.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I would give a 2 for the reasons stated above.

Thanksfor letting me try these.

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I've used the washing up liquid. I found environmentally friendly criteria didn't outweigh the lower performance issues :(

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes in the bathroom so that there is no excuse not to clean up. I prefer not to use them around the house as they are quite expensive and more waste is generated

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them for a bathroom clean and they worked pretty well. I also used them in my caravan for a kitchen and washroom wipe down but they were less successful here as the wipe was smaller than it needed to be and struggled to clear dried on dirt

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

As I generally only use wipes in the bathroom the antibacterial properties are important. I don't use antibacterial products anywhere else in the house

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was unmemorable. The fragrance was mild but I really dislike it. So much so that I probably won't finish the pack. The wipes stayed moist but surfaces needed wiping afterwards to get rid of the residue. They are a bit smaller than I'd like.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in the bin as it feels a bit late in the year to try composting them. I don't separate food waste (have chickens) and wouldn't put wipes in there if I did. It doesn't bother me that they're not flushable but I do prefer to have soiled wipes away from the premises asap

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Sadly I wouldn't. I see wipes as an expensive cleaning product and if I'm going to spend the money I want a quality product. These wipes were too small, felt too cheap and I hated the smell. I don't think I'd recommend to a friend unless they were specifically looking for an eco friendly product and even then I'd caveat my recommendation. It all felt a bit like wearing a hair shirt to be honest. I could tick the environmental box but I felt like I was using a value product. Sorry Ecover :(

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

My perception of the brand is slightly worse. After trying the wipes I actually think that Ecover and other environmentally conscious producers should be discouraging the use of disposable products

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I really wanted to love these. :( Due to the smell, the small size, the residue and the excessive foam I'm going to have to give them 2 and if they weren't biodegradable with low environmental impact it would have been 1.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I like the concept of green products and have tried the washing up liquid in the past, and found it not to be sudsy enough. We do however buy in our regular shop the laundry liquid and window cleaning liquid.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

No, not really: I'm concerned that they're wasteful. I do use a paraone wipe on the loo between weekly cleans.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I only tried them in the kitchen and I found them not to do the job. They're too small and thin, making them slip out of one's grasp and they are too soapy, necessitating another wipe with a cloth to wipe away the suds.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Quite important. I don't rely on such products, but do use an anti-bacterial spray in the kitchen, coupled with regular boil washes of the cloths I use.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was useful. The fragrance ok. Too much moisture for too little cloth.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I didn't notice they're biodegradable! I would put them in our green bin (for kitchen waste) if I didn't fear the council would think they're a contamination.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

See above: I'm not persuaded that this is the product for me or that it is fully developed for its stated aims.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Not changed my perception that this is a good, worthy brand, that doesn't always manage to replace the non-green version.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I have tried a few; too wussy and eco-blah-blah to work, usually

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
They?re convenient. When I have 45 seconds to do some cleaning and there are some wipes lying handy, I clean.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
Bathroom, kitchen, living room table, bookshelves, some dirty toys I bought on ebay
They?re really soapy and frothy, so I had to get a wet cloth and wipe the froth off the surfaces afterwards. This was ok in most places but not on the bookshelves ? too much froth near the books. And it defeated the point of using wipes.
They did get the surfaces and toys clean though.
They wouldn?t be suitable for cleaning a large area, or a very dirty area. They?re not big enough or strong enough and you?d use too many. But I probably wouldn't use any type of wipe for that purpose.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
I don?t choose anti-bacterial products specifically, but most things seem to be anyway.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
Wipes were far too wet.
Packaging fine.
Husband liked the fragrance. I like cleaning products to smell like cleaning products, not food.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
I?ve been putting them in the bin. But I?ll go and read the packet and see if they can go in the compost food caddy now!
I don't flush "flushable" wipes since we blocked the drains with them.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
No, wouldn?t buy or recommend. If I?m going to have to rinse afterwards I might as well get out the cloth and spray.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
Well, I suppose they did actually get things clean.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

  1. Because the main point of wipes is convenience, and they?re not.

I will answer each of the questions in turn below, but first just wanted to say overall I LOVE these wipes. thanks so much for the opportunity to test them out as I wouldn't have thought of using ecover for wipes before. I have been eagerly waiting for this feedback thread to be set up as I loved them from the very first wipe and have been keenly using them ever since!

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I am a big fan of Ecover products as they do the job at least as well as (sometimes better than) non-eco products. I regularly used Ecover wash up liquid, mizu soap, all purpose cleaner, and loo cleaner.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes I use another brand of wipes mainly for cleaning the toilets, if there are spills on the floor or for a quick clean around the basins. I use them mainly for convenience as i often need to very quickly clean up after the kids and wipes are the most convenient way. I keep a pack in the kitchen, in the cloakroom and in the bathroom so they are always to hand for those spills.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them for toilet, basin, highchair, changing mat, floor, table (even on carpet which i don't think you are supposed to but I needed to quickly clean up baby sick and they did the job nicely).

I ESPECIALLY loved that you didn't need to rinse after as that is my no 1 criteria for these types of wipes to make it quick and convenient. I was very impressed that even on highchairs / change mats etc they were safe to use without rinsing.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

yes it's important. and I use an anti-bac spray for surfaces sometimes and I use antibac wipes for the toilet / sink.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

I LOVED the fact that they were so moist. Other wipes are often dissapointing as they are quite dry and dry out quickly. I often have to end up adding a bit of extra water to them to make them work but these were FAB! loved the fragrance - not all chemical smells like other wipes. Packaging was fine. The wipes did the job BETTER than i expected. Really love how effective they are.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in the bin. I don't mind that they are not flushable. I was impressed when I noticed the FSC certification but I never thought of putting them in the compost bin. Now that I know that they could be, i would consider putting them in our green (cardboard / compostables) bin.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes i would buy. and Yes I would recommend. Because they are so effective and in my opinion are superior to other products AND I love the fact they are safe to use without rinsing on things like highchairs, change mat surfaces etc .

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I was always a big fan since first trying ecover a few years ago and found their products to be so good. I am very pleased with the wipes performance so it makes me think that ecover are really good at what they do!

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

5 star for sure! thank you ecover x

. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I was looking forward to using these, as I had never tried Ecover products before.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I tend to just use them in the bathroom to give a quick clean every day. They are handy to have around, especially when toilet training!!

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them in the kitchen, just to wipe surfaces, and the bathroom to give a quick onceover every day. I didn't think they were all that effective. They were really small and flimsy.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Anti-bacterial properties are important to me, especially since these are used mostly in the bathroom. I generally use milton spray.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging was fine, the wipes were easy to pull out. I did like the fragrance. The wipes just weren't big, or thick, enough to be effective.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I didn't actually realise that they could be put in with the food waste, so I was just putting them in the bin with the general rubbish.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I wouldn't recommend them, as I didn't feel they were particularly great for cleaning.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

It has changed my perception, I hadn't tried these before and I wouldn't try them again due to being too small to clean properly.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I tend to think of Ecover products as being green, mediocre and expensive.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
I don't currently use Ecover wipes. I bulk buy Kirkland household wipes from Costco.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
I used the wipes in the kitchen as a direct comparison to my usual wipes. They didn't really do the job as well as my normal wipes, unfortunately! They were too small and too soft/flimsy. I also found them a bit too wet, when cleaning up sticky mess such as cake mixture.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
It's not that important to me. I like things to be clean, but not excessively clean. After all, some bacteria are good and it's important to build up your immunity to those that aren't because the outside world has not been washed down with anti-bac!

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
The packaging was relatively easy to use, but I find the seal a bit flimsy. Didn't really notice the fragrance, and I found the wipes a bit too moist!

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
I threw the used wipes in the bin...sorry! Didn't realise they were biodegradable. Not sure where I'd put them now I know, as we don't have a compost heap or food waste collections.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
Probably not... The green aspect is nice, but they just didn't do the job as well as my normal heavier duty wipes.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
No, my perception is still about the same. But I am impressed that you are doing product tests like this one and will look forward to seeing how it helps!

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
Probably only a 2.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I have used Ecover products before. I tend to get them whenever they are on special offer.
  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

No, I don't use wipes, as I don't like the idea of throwing something away after one use.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I tested the wipes in the kitchen. They did a reasonable job.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

I'm not that fussed about the anti-bac thing. If I'm really worried about bacteria, I'll get the bleach out.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Yes, the packaging was fine. No, I didn't like the fragrance. No, I felt the wipes lost moisture too quickly.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in the bin. Not a problem that they are not flushable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

No, I wouldn't. I'm not keen on wipes per se & I didn't particularly like these. I found them really stingy on my skin, they seemed very acidic.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Not really. I'll still buy Ecover products when they are on special offer.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

2 - wasn't really very impressed.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I wanted to like ecover because I do worry about the amount of chemicals going into the environment, but I have used the washing up liquid before and not been impressed. Not tried any other products.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

No - value for money.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them on the table in front of the highchair and the bathroom (loo and basin). They did the job and are very convenient for cleaning the loo but would be much better if they were flushable. The main problem is that the wipes are small and crumple to nothing very quickly when used.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Very important because of the areas I used them, I usually use an anti bacterial spray cleaner in those areas.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Yes to all of these but the wipes were too small.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I didn't realise they were compost able and put them in the bin! Should have put them in the compost caddy. It would be good if they were flushable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Maybe for the bathroom, depending on price. I would recommend them to someone looking for a wipe in particular but I will probably stick with using a spray as it will probably be cheaper.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I was more impressed by them than by the washing up liquid and may try other products in future.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

4 because they were too small.

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I have never used Ecover products before, I have seen the brand in supermarkets and always thought the packaging made it look like the product would be a lower standard of product than I usually buy.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I buy wipes every week and use them daily as I find them more convenient to use.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used the wipes in the kitchen and in the bathroom, they did the job.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Very imprtant, all the sprays and wipes I use are anti-bac.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was a nightmare to get into the 1st time, the tab was totally stuck down and because it was clear and the packaging white it was hard to see what side to open the tab from. I think the packaging could do with saying that they are non flushable and make a point of saying they can be used in compost bins. I hated the fragrance, it was too sickly for me. The wipes has a lot of product on them which is great but the wipes themselves are quite flimsy and not large enough.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I have recently bought a compost bin but I never thought to put these in it, I put them in the bin. Not being flushable is a bit of a pain when being used in the bathroom, which I wouldn't have minded so much had it been clear they could be composted.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

No I wouldn't buy them again and I wouldn't recommend them either. I used 2 or 3 as many wipes per job as I do with my usual brand as they were really small and not good quality.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

No it hasn't changed my perception, I still think they are a lower quality brand now that I have used them.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

A 1 star rating. There wasn't a lot of good points about them.
