We recently recruited 100 MNers to join the UltraLift Challenge and put UltraLift to the test. In addition, 10 lucky MNers (who also tested UltraLift) were invited to an exclusive Q&A session with Davina McCall, Garnier UltraLift brand Ambassador. Davina answered all sorts of questions submitted by MNers - including: what she thinks of UltraLift, how she manages her beauty routine within her busy schedule and lots more. You can see some pictures and info from the event here

So what is the UltraLift Challenge? The UltraLift Challenge is an activity created by Garnier to allow women across the country to test UltraLift anti-wrinkle cream for free and see the results for themselves against Garnier?s Wrinkle Reader. Last year 18,374 women put UltraLift to the test and 80% saw a visible improvement in the appearance of their wrinkles.

How can you participate? Garnier is offering free trial packs containing 14 UltraLift samples and the unique Wrinkle Reader
- find out more by visiting the UltraLift pages on Mumsnet

This thread is for testers to report back on the results they?ve seen from putting UltraLift anti-wrinkle cream to the test and to encourage all MNers to try UltraLift for FREE and see the results for themselves.

So if you were a tester, once you have used the cream for at least 14 days - please share with us all on this thread how you are finding the cream...

~ Before starting using the UltraLift - did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

If you attended the Q&A with Davina, please answer the questions above about the product and also let us know about the event with her - and share any additional tips/experiences she shared with you, a summary is on the hub.

Everyone who is a tester and who adds feedback on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £100 John Lewis voucher.

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

I tried to but it was hard to tell what 'level' fo wrinkles I had as the Wrinkle Reader was on the inside of the box, so the reader itself was pretty wrinkled/crushed by the time the box & cream had arrived in the post! I think I was around 1 or 2.

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

Mine are quite shallow but still don't want them! I hate the fact that my foundation gets 'stuck' in the ridges! I'll try anything, non surgical, to try to minimise them.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?

Lovely feel, fresh smell and very easily absorbed. It is definitely a nice cream to use. I didn't feel like it 'sat' on my face, as other creams often do.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

I haven't noticed any difference on my face but I did use it on my decolletage and that is definitely looking better!

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

Yes, I think it's great value and would happily pay this price.

~ Would you recommend it to others?

Yes, but for other parts of the body.

~ Any other comments?

As before, the wrinkle reader is useless as it gets damaged in the box. It's quite hard to find, difficult to get out and was so crushed I think it was more wrinkly than my grandmother!

BerryLellow · 13/06/2012 16:36

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I wasn't on the wrinkle reader! - I did look though

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
Just starting to affect me really, especially around the eyes. I think largely due to squinting in the sun and tiredness. I'm not ready for them to be part of my character just yet

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
Really didn't like the smell, it was like men's deodorant IMO, too strong and not what I would choose at all. However, it did go on easily and didn't take too long to absorb

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
Yes, actually I think it has made a difference to me, the crow's feet are definitely improved and I think there's been a whole face improvement. Not noticeable via wrinkle reader for reason above

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
I'm not sure, certainly until it runs out, but in the interests of research I'd like to see how other creams match up having not really tried one of this type before. That said, the price is excellent for the effect I feel it's had. But please change the scent!*

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would say definitely try it out - especially at the price I wouldn't feel bad about suggesting it

~ Any other comments?
I wasn't really sure if it was meant for just the eye area or all over, the packaging mine came in (fairly battered) was unclear. But I used it all over anyway. Also don't think the red pot is very attractive, but that I suppose is a minor issue. I just think it looks more like cheap haircare than skincare product.

Thanks very much for the trial though, I may well be a regular customer yet!

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
Less than one

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
Annoying but inevitable. I frown a lot, I have small children!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
Wasn't keen on the smell but it did feel nice and was gone after two minutes so very good

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
No difference I'm afraid, I guess my skin is a bit softer but no more so than with any other cream.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Probably not. The one I prefer is cheaper and on 3 for 2 at boots on a regular basis

~ Would you recommend it to others?
*I don't think my friends would ask me honestly (we've a vain bunch of baggages who pretend we don't do beauty). Wink

~ Any other comments?
*Liked the pot quite a lot. Would prefer not to have a box as well though, seems like packaging overkill.

Did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

I was on grade 2 of the scale when I first started the test, I measured against the crow's feet area on my eyes.

And how did you feel about your wrinkles?

Wrinkles were minimal i feel although there are definitely signs of wrinkling (age 50, fair complexion with tendency to dryness). I've been observant particularly over the time of the test and tried hard to use the cream as per the instructions.

How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?

This was one aspect of the test which I wasn't too impressed with, I thought there was a 'urea' type smell with the cream and it had a cheap fragrance, it didn't smell luxurious or expensive. I've noticed this odour each time I've used the cream and it's not too pleasant. The cream did blend in really smoothly though and there was no irritation. Even when I got some in my eye accidentally there was no stinging or soreness. The cream did absorb easily too and I didn't have any residual greasiness.

Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

I haven't noticed any actual difference in my face despite being really vigilant about following the test's instructions. It was an ok product to use - it was a moisturiser which I used twice a day like any other, it moisturised my skin and was effective in that way. I wasn't senstive to it at all except the fragrance which I didn't enjoy. I would still say that I matched grade 2 on the wrinkle reader

Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

I don't think I will carry on using the Garnier Ultralift simply because of the odour of the cream.

Would you recommend it to others?

Only if they'd tested it and smelled it first.

Any other comments?

Pot is easy to handle and cream is really easy to apply.

Less than one

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
conscious of ones on my forehead, sagging more of a problem than wrinkles

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
smelt ok, absorbed well
~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
Bit softer and smoother, no difference against wrinkle reader

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Probably not. Aldi's is as good
~ Would you recommend it to others?
no
~ Any other comments?
no

  • I used the Wrinkle reader and was on Level One.
  • Don't feel I have many wrinkles, but do have a deep frown line!
  • I liked the smell, and the consistency. I thought it absorbed well.
  • Don't think I noticed a difference.
  • Probably not, I like using Body Shop products, and like their Vitamin E moisturiser just as much.
  • I probably wouldn't specifically recommend it, but would certainly wouldn't have any complaints about it if asked.

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

Less than a 1, was feeling quite smug, until I read the other thread and realised there were lots of other people the same.

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

Had noticed fine lines around my eyes a couple of months ago (probably coincided with the arrival of ds2). Slightly annoying, but I felt they were pretty
much par for the course.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?

It smelt unscented. I know that doesn't really make sense, but I thought it smelt like E45 cream, something that isn't meant to have added scent. It was okay though. Felt nice to apply and was absorbed easily. However about 10 minutes after adding it, I needed to add more to the sides of my nose which get really dry.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

I can't tell if it has made any difference to the fine lines around my eyes, but it has brought me out in spots. Using this cream was the only change to my routine, and over the last couple of weeks I've been getting more pimples on my cheeks.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

No, because of the spots. If it hadn't affected my skin in this way, and had an spf, then I would have used it again.

~ Would you recommend it to others?

Possibly.

~ Any other comments?

I was surprised that an anti-wrinkle cream didn't have an spf in it, as surely sun damage is one of the main causes of wrinkles.

mrsbunnyw · 13/06/2012 17:07

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

If I smile, I am on about level 2. I am not on the scale when not smilling.

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

My 'crow's feet' are fairly minor but I am happy to prevent them getting worse! I don't mind them too much as at least they show I smile!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?

It smelt and felt very luxurious and expensive! I was pleased with it. I do still suffer from oily skin and spots on my nose and chin so avoided using it on the T-Zone region as it felt fairly thick and I was concerned it would make spots worse.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

It is hard to say that I noticed any great difference as my wrinkles were fairly mild anyway. I would say that they still score the same on the chart.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

I am not sure. It is long lasting and I am happy with the value for money, but I think my skin is too greasy for it really.

~ Would you recommend it to others?

Yes

~ Any other comments?

Thank you for the opportunity to try it out!

supergolden88 · 13/06/2012 17:19

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

between 1-2

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

Turning 40 in a few months my wrinkles have definitely become more prominent recently. I would rather prevent them from getting deeper

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
Smells lovely and absorbs well. However felt a tiny bit oily for my skin type.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

No difference but my wrinkles are not super deep. Skin felt less tight and definitely softer. Felt good as a general day moisturiser.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
The price is right but not sure whether it suits me.

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Yes but not as a wrinkle cream. Maybe just as a general day moisturiser to be used with other products targeting wrinkles.

~ Any other comments?
Somehow although this is a cream for older women it felt like a moisturiser for 25-30 year olds. Not sure whether it is the packaging or the product itself. Not sophisticated enough.

Happy to say that I was not on the reader!
~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
Not impressed with the lines on my chin, either side of my mouth - hate them - have had juvarderm once, maybe time for more
~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
Lovely cream, smelt fine and did absorb well
~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
No difference

Might do, wearing oil of ulay with fake tan in it.......determined to look sun kissed despite the weather!
~ Would you recommend it to others? NO
~ Any other comments?
A nice cream, not anything special, I am 39 year old and need something which does make a visible difference and kinda believe that creams are unable to do this in reality, also my friend works for GWSB and told me that creams/potions can't - at the moment!

Bossybritches22 · 13/06/2012 17:55

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed but then I have been a bit of a challenge as I've broken my ankle just as I was about to start the testing & the furrows caused by ensuing problems would probably defeat a bucket of Botox!!!

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on? only a 2

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character? part of me

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
nice to use, absorbed well but I didn't like the smell

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader? possibly reduced to a 1, plumped out my skin a bit but no discernable difference to other wrinkles

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18. No

~ Would you recommend it to others? No

~ Any other comments? Exactly the same smell & feel to a similar cream by Avon !

Thanks for the chance to try it though. Grin

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I was a grade 1at most. My lines are on my forehead and "laughter lines rather than crows feet though

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character? Deep on forehead and from nose to mouth. less so around eyes - worse when smiling! Annoying but inevitable.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
Smelt lovely, felt light and smooth and easily absorbed

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
No real difference from other moisturisers I have used

Yes

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
Less than one

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
i just have a few "laughter lines", which I don't mind at all really.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
It smells medicinal to me, which I wasn't keen on. That said, it does absorb easily and left my skin feeling hydrated.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
Yes. My skin feels softer and looks more radiant.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Probably not. Whilst the price is fine for what is it, I'll stick to the one I usually use, as it has an SPF.

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Perhaps to someone with very mature skin.

~ Any other comments?
You might consider adding an SPF, as we all know that the sun is a major contributor of wrinkles. Thanks for the opportunity to test this out.

crazyartistcatlady · 13/06/2012 18:45

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I suspected and I was only a 1

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

Oh gawd, I felt like I was ageing by the day, I think the fact that I'm 40 in 18 months does not help!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily? I love it, it's easily absorbed and doesn't feel greasy but it definitely hydrates my skin

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

Yes I've noticed on one side of my face that the crows feet under my eye have vanished, same it's only on one side, maybe I need to rub it in harder, maybe I should try sandpaper (joking)
~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

yes, I was using Oil of Olay stuff before and though I liked it, it definitely wasn't as good
~ Would you recommend it to others?

I would recommend it
~ Any other comments?

I notice that it says a temporary firming effect which is why I'm now scared to stop using it, what if I do and a week later my whole face sags right down to my chin?

poopoopoo · 13/06/2012 18:53

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I was grade 1-2

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
I would prefer not to have them, I suppose having wrinkles is just part of life but there is nothing wrong with trying to reduce them a bit! I am glad to have laughed enough and lived enough to have some!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
It smelt ok, there was nothing very different about the fragrance it was a bit nondescript. It did make my skin feel nice and absorbed well. I was pleased it was not greasy and my skin did not feel greasy later in the day as it can with other moisturisers I have used. It was comfortable and hydrated, just right.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I could not really see much of a difference though I would like to hope it reduced the wrinkles!

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
I might treat myself for christmas; even though it is reasonably priced I am budgeting to go on holiday

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, it is reasonably priced for a very good product.

~ Any other comments?
It has a nice feel but I would like it to have a element of coverage included. I tried mixing a bit with my foundation and it worked well to obtain a good texture and coverage that lasted throughout the day. I have the odd few spots and wrinkles and its good to hit two birds with one stone (or should that be one old bird with one miracle cure for wrinkles?!!) Wink
Thank you

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
Possibly a 2 - it was difficult to test, and was really using wrinkles areound my mouth rather than crows feet, as they didn't register at all...
~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
I have no feelings about them. They are part of me
~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
It felt greasy to me (do not usually use any creams at all) but absorbed fairly quickly.
~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
No significant difference.
~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Will probably use up the pot I have, but wouldn't buy more
~ Would you recommend it to others? No
~ Any other comments? Inclusion of a SPF would make it more appealing.

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I was less than a 1

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
Just noticing the crows feet and certainly want to delay the onset of any further 'character'!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
The smell was really horrible and lingered for such a long time it really put me off. It absorbed easily and felt fine.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I don't think it was any better than my normal brand.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
The smell would stop me using it.

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Provided they didn't have a problem with the scent then yes.

~ Any other comments?
My mum used it too and said she noticed a difference. She didn't like the smell much either but didn't find it as offensive as I did.

Alicadabra · 13/06/2012 19:38

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
Yes, because the letter with the free sample suggested I should and I?d been sent a separate one. I don?t think I?d have bothered to dig the one out of the packaging (unless I was feeling particularly keen). I was less than 1, although it was a bit tricky to judge as the lines I wanted to test it on are under my eyes ? crow?s feet aren?t an issue for me.

And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
They?re a pretty new thing for me. I?m not unduly worried about them but they?re part of a package of things which make me look older (or feel that I look older) than I used to.

How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
The smell is far too strong. I?ve got used to it a bit now but I don?t particularly like it ? it?s too artificial. However the cream felt lovely and was absorbed very easily. It wasn?t at all greasy or ?heavy?.

Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I didn?t really notice a difference, sorry. It felt nice though.

Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
No.

Would you recommend it to others?
I might suggest that they try it, but only if they mentioned that they were concerned about wrinkles.

Any other comments?
This is the first wrinkle cream I?ve used and I wasn?t really sure how to use it ? how often? how much? where? just on problem areas, or instead of a moisturiser? Some guidance for newbies would be nice. (Initially I used it twice a day then changed to evenings only, which seemed appropriate ? then eventually I noticed that the pot said ?day cream?! I only used it around my eyes.)

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on? Yes, I estimated I was grade 8, which surprised me, as I don't feel that wrinkly for my age
~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character? I wasn't too worried about them, but on looking carefully in the mirror and coming out at a grade 8, felt pretty old every time I used the cream. The truth is, I need glasses for reading, and take them off to apply face cream, so I don't normally look that closely.
~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily? Smelt OK, and felt soft on my hands, but was a bit sting-y and astringent going onto my face
~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I got sunburnt the first time I used it, as I normally use face cream with a SPF
My face felt a bit itchy
No apparent change in my wrinkles
~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18. No
~ Would you recommend it to others? No
~ Any other comments? I would always prefer a face cream with SPF, and will stick to my usual (cheaper) version

Thanks all the same, it's always nice to try things out.

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?

Less than 1

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?

I don't want wrinkles as I don't want to look old. Although I accept it's inevitable, I want to hold off for as long as possible and at the age of 41 am now looking to improve diet, alcohol intake and review beauty regime.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?

Smelled lovely, fely lovely. Very nice cream - comparable with a high end brand (around £40) which I recently tried.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?

No difference in 'wrinkles' that I could see but skin firmer and smoother and felt less dehydrated and brighter in general (maybe becasue as part of taking the challenge, I made an effort to massage cream into my skin and not skip a day becasue I was in a hurry).

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.

Yes, it's a good all round cream for the price. As I said before, definitely comparable to some higher end face creams.

~ Would you recommend it to others?

Yes, though not as a 'wrinkle cream' just as a good all round nice smelling affordable make-your-skin-feel-smooth kind of cream.

~ Any other comments?

As a bonus, my hands now feel softer than they have ever done!

also,

Would like to have tried the one they do with added SPF (surely that's a no brainer as these days everyone wants SPF - especially on a product test run during the summertime)

Thanks.

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I tried to use the wrinkle reader but found it a bit tricky to gauge really. I think I was a 1.

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
I've not been that bothered by them in the past, except for the frown lines between my eyebrows, but this trial has made me a little more aware of them!

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
It smelt quite nice, felt quite light on the skin and absorbed quite well.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I think the wrinkles are a little smoother, but the wrinkle reader wasn't much help really. Wished I'd taken a "before" photo to help me remember what my wrinkles looked before.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
I think I might use it if it was on offer.

~ Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would, but not exclusively.

Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
Yes, I used it around my eyes and my crow?s feet measure around 2-3.

And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
The wrinkles have been around for a while, they are more prevalent since having children and just add to the number of changes in my body which I have to come to terms with now that the big 4 0 is galloping ever nearer!

How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
I have never been a fan of Garnier and I probably haven't used their products since the early 90's. The cream smelled 'pretty', the aroma is quite delicate and it felt rich enough to keep my super dry skin moisturised for much of the day.

Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
My skin looks and feels brighter but to be honest there isn't much change around the eyes. The skin around my chin and jawline remains in the early stages of 'slackness'...

Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Probably not at that price but I'd definitely buy it if it was on a money off promotion.

Would you recommend it to others?
I would let people decide based on what they think of the improvements to my face!

Any other comments?
I used it as a moisturiser all over my face rather than just around the eyes. I enjoyed using it and it has made me think differently about Garnier as a brand.

~ Before starting using the UltraLift ? did you use Garnier?s UltraLift Wrinkle reader? What grade were you on?
I was less than 1.

~ And how did you feel about your wrinkles? New, old, deep, shallow, annoying or part of your character?
My wrinkles have just started to become noticeable.

~ How did it smell and how did it feel on your skin? Did it absorb easily?
I liked the smell and feel of the cream. It felt luxurious and absorbed easily.

~ Did you notice a difference on your face? What did you notice? Was any difference noticeable against the UltraLift wrinkle reader?
I didn't notice anything major in terms of wrinkle reduction. My skin felt moisturised though and it wasn't greasy. Also, I have sensitive skin and this cream was fine for my skin.

~ Do you think you will carry on using it? The RRP is £9.18.
Yes, for now.

~ Would you recommend it to others?
I would but more as a moisturiser with an additional product for anti-wrinkle.

~ Any other comments?
As it is a day cream, it would have been nice to have an SPF add-on.
