Halos N Horns has asked us to find 200 Mumsnetters to try their Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash with their DCs aged 1-3 years. Here's what Halos N Horns say about the product: "Use our Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash as an all over body wash or a shampoo - you'll find you don't need to use a lot as a little goes a long way. It's gentle and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. Don't expect a lot of bubbles as we don't use SLS or SLES in our products (foaming agents) as they can dry out and irritate the skin. We prefer to use natural conditioners and plant-derived cleansers to keep our products nice and gentle."

This is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child aged 1-3 years. If you're selected to take part, you'll be sent a 250ml tube of Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash which you'll need to use with your DC for a week or so and then add your feedback to a thread on MN.

Everyone who is part of the test and adds their feedback to the thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a bundle of baby and toddler educational bath toys and a children's digital camera (RRP £105).

If you'd like to take part, please click here to add your details.

Thanks

Done. Would be interesting to see if a scented product works on ds's sensitive skin.

Done....dcs are starting to have showers and it would be nice to find something child-friendly which doesn't use sodium laureth sulphate....(and lets me keep my expensive korres gel to myself!)

Just out of interest, why is the cut off so young? My 10YO DD would love to have a go of that. I'll look out for it in the shops.

done, I hate all the SDS in shampoo for kids, was quite pissed off to see it in Johnson and Johnson stuff which is theoretically for newborns+! I'd love to try this and see if it really does go a long way, as if it is as cheap as regular baby/child shampoo products, I'd happily buy it in the future. (and if it's cheaper than T-gel, may try it myself!!)

I was wondering the same, my DDs are 8 and 10 and I still buy children's products for their sensitive scalps.

Another here whose DCs would love this, but they are 7 and 9yo! Halos N Horns are missing an opportunity by having ages 1-3 Hmm and not older children

Maybe dd would like having her hair washed if it was orange?

Done as well. My other 2 DCs (4 & 6) would love the idea of using a 'halos and horns' wash - surely the name is more directed at slightly older children? But still, would be very excited if I could try this out on my soon-to-be 2 year old! Hate the idea of parabens, fake-lather chemicals (sodium lauryl sulphate?) and fake scents...

Oh. Why do they have to 1-3??

I would have jumped at the chance to test these out on sensitive skinned DS but he is 7. Never mind.

Thanks for comments so far - here's a response from Halos N Horns about the 1-3 age criteria:

"We created Zingy Orange for younger children ? babies and toddlers ? however, if you?ve got older siblings who?d like to try it too that?s great."

So if you have older ones as well as a 1-3 year old please do sign up and get them involved too. If you only have older ones then sorry you're not eligible this time but there's loads more coming up soon so keep your eyes peeled!

ilovesprouts - yes, that's fine - please do sign up

Leonie - that's fine - please can you PM me with your correct postcode and I'll change it for you?
