I do remember them - never my favourites, no one compared to Duran Duran when I was a girl!

sigh Morten Harket.. and judging by Live8 footage of Berlin, still as gorgeous!

How much do you want for them Charlie?

loved their song "crying in the rain" Unfortunately birmingham is too far away for me.

£30 each inc p+p.
by the time i paid the price, then booking fee, then postage it adds up. so i've rounded it up and knocked a bit off.
just recieved them today.

when they came on sale i chose b'ham cos thats where i went in 2002 to see them. absolutely fanstastic they were.
so would love to see them again in concert but after i bought these they added extra places on this years tour, cardiff being one of them. which is only half hour away from home. great. theyve never to wales before. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

cant wait. so therefore b'ham really to far for me now. and couldnt cancel the order. got 2 kiddies to think about now - had one last time!!

feel free to email me [email protected]

Mars - I knew an 80s music thread would have you mentioning the 'Ran!

I have a friend who was so/is mad about Duran that she is 'known' to them! She has stalked poor Mr Le Bon mercilessly for years and hasn't eased off that much in her thirties despite being happily married to her long-suffering husband who incidentally is MUCH better looking than SLB! As well as having had the obligatory photos taken with him (plus I think she has kissed him).. she has also been flung on the pavement by him because the poor man was desperate to get her off him when she was overcome with.. emotion? lust? or something.. and was clinging to his neck like a leech! She has also taken cuttings from his dad's hedge and planted them in HER garden! PMSL!

Oh and she is an occasional MN poster.. (by the name of DuranFan!! ).. and is quite normal in all other respects!

SJ x

I went through an A-ha stage in my teens (loved that take on me video). I can remember playing the whole album down the phone to my cousin (who lived a 20 min walk away!) Weren't they after Duran Duran left the lime light a bit? I seem to remember our class moved from DD to A-ha (mainly Morten)
