Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

MN WEBCHAT GUIDELINES 1. One question per member plus a follow-up question if appropriate, ie once you've had a response. 2. Keep your question brief 3. Don't be disappointed if your specific question doesn't get answered and do try not to keep posting "What about me?". 4. Do be civil/polite. See guidelines in full here.

Video webchat with Will Young - Would you like to interview him on Mumsnet's behalf?

(125 Posts)
So there's been a bit of discussion about the limitations of our current webchat format and seeing as we've got some video capability now we thought we'd give a video variation a try to see how that works.

We're looking for a couple of mumsnetters to come along to a venue in West London and represent MN by putting forwards Mumsnetters' questions in a video chat with Will Young next Monday (26th October) between 12.30 and 1pm.

We'll be going along with a camera crew who will film the interview which will then be aired on the site at a later date (as an edited clip with a link to a full version).

As a special reward the interviewers will then be invited to attend Will's exclusive live album promotion show and after-show party the following evening (Tuesday). If you're interested let us know here and we'll put your name in the hat.

(ps we're hoping to persuade him to sing too.)
Well dahlink... we'll do our best <<air kisses>>
Aw that's so lovely to hear. Just so glad you all had a good time. Just make sure you have even more fun tomorrow night swanking it up with the industry luvvies wink
Thank you mini. We did say that it was a shame you couldn't be there.

Mars!

I just started a Will lovefest thread.

And I'm not the one who was talking about squeezing watermelons through small orifices to him!
I love this man! He is the nicest nicest man. Could've talked for hours. As it was his management had to drag him away. Norky was able to explain a few of the finer points of MN to him though... weren't you Norky?

Have met Norky before but not McDreamy. Love McDreamy. Can't wait to party with them tomorrow.
Yes we had quite a long chat, she was really nice, very easy to chat with. Can't wait til tomorrow, just checking train times! grin

Lunch sounds like a good idea!

Did you get asked lots of questions when she called you? When asked what my username was she said "oh you're that one"!

I'm so over excited...
grin

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
