Sunday Times columnist India Knight will be joining us here on Monday 2nd July from 9-10pm for a live chat. India has just published her first children's book 'The Baby' which is about a big brother's relationship with his new baby sister - an absolute must for second-time parents. If you can't make the chat you can post your questions in advance here.
Hope to see you here on Monday.

I'm sure she was fine 100x - no one was rude to her, just a little hectic and random, but not mean.

She said early on that she could't get worked up or upset about what a stranger said or thought - she seems a well balanced and solid sort - i think there was far more gushing and compliments than anything else.

Relax, i'm sure she enjoyed it.

tiredemma, it was fun for a change yes??

(thanks for the voucher BTW)

WendyWeber Mon 02-Jul-07 22:12:07

I thought she read as if she enjoyed herself - it was invigorating at least

I am Not Responsible for India Knights Happiness.

Every day in every way I become a less responsible person.
Where's Cod? I'm going to blame everything on her. Not that there is anything to blame or feel guilty about obviously.

Rubyslippers Mon 02-Jul-07 22:11:42

i thought she seemed ok with everything
she answered all the questions
she was pretty feisty too
hope she doesn't feel upset as i think most people on this thread are big fans of hers

charlieandlola Mon 02-Jul-07 22:11:30

But, she solved a few mn dilemmas:

Crocs are Out
Eating Grapes in a supermarket is Not Stealing
SAHM v WOHM - yawn - live and let live

How could she not enjoy it?

Quattrocento Mon 02-Jul-07 22:11:29

Oh do share Mossy. 100x needs cheering up and I have to go interview a prospective au pair.

tiredemma Mon 02-Jul-07 22:11:03

I think I know what you mean Mosschops

Wotznot2know Mon 02-Jul-07 22:10:41

LL - They have train stations If I were still a southern girl I'd give you a lift. Sorry too far to come. Hats, you really should try on, not buy online, very tricky!

ahundredtimes Mon 02-Jul-07 22:10:29

It's like she was a guest or something, and we weren't very hospitable. Oh well, she doesn't care, that's the main thing. I always tell myself this, about everything, because I feel responsible for everything.

mosschops30 Mon 02-Jul-07 22:10:18

there is something great about this thread thats ive wanted to see for a long time, utterly hilarious, wonder if the rest of you spotted it, classic MN history

Great read though I like her.

Quattrocento Mon 02-Jul-07 22:09:52

Thought she was happy to help with the SN stuff and perhaps felt a bit of bond? It wasn't all bad 100x. And it was only an hour.

tiredemma Mon 02-Jul-07 22:09:48

I was unaware of India Knight, except for the odd few links that Cod puts up.

She seems cool and good fun.

Will look out for her articles in future.

stressteddy Mon 02-Jul-07 22:09:17

so we're bothered about being rude to celebs but not to each other??

Quattrocento Mon 02-Jul-07 22:08:36

Yes I think we were too actually. Was worried about that. Tinge of sadness in the husband/nanny thing too.

and disorderly.

God, why do I always feel responsible for EVERYTHING?

ahundredtimes Mon 02-Jul-07 22:07:19

I think we were rude.

littlelapin Mon 02-Jul-07 22:07:05

Wotz - - one would go to Chi, IF one could drive!!!

Rubyslippers Mon 02-Jul-07 22:06:31

why don't you think she did?

ahundredtimes Mon 02-Jul-07 22:06:13

She is clever though I think. And probably very funny and charming. I hope she had a good time. I don't think she did.

Quattrocento Mon 02-Jul-07 22:05:20

Oh you know. Grope a celeb. Being celeb's they have extra insight and wonderful cleverness, and we have a chance to interact with her. I thought it was fun actually. Not as funny as a thread with you and cod on it, minus the minor celeb, but still fun.

Rubyslippers Mon 02-Jul-07 22:04:49

beverly hughes - minister for children
did a live chat a while back

ahundredtimes Mon 02-Jul-07 22:04:36

Wotznot2know Mon 02-Jul-07 22:04:14
