Anyone else think Mumsnet should have its own class bear to send round??

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 22:45:26

Called Pom, obviously.

Bear at Wine O Clock...

Bear with Pom Bears...

picnicbasketcase Fri 30-Sep-11 22:48:30

Aw. We could take photos of him going shopping for nice ham.

Kbear Fri 30-Sep-11 22:49:33

but what if someone took him to Greggs? How long in the decontamination chamber before the next MNer could take him out?

rushofbloodtothefeet Fri 30-Sep-11 22:49:38

Where would it end ... <cries>

southeastastra Fri 30-Sep-11 22:50:27

ha yes would be funny! we should have the birds eye clarence bear

cheesesarnie Fri 30-Sep-11 22:50:37

oh my god!!!!yessssssss.that is the most bestest idea ever.i love it!

I'd make shit up about what we got up to when really we stayed in watching TOWIE and eating nutella.

picnicbasketcase Fri 30-Sep-11 22:52:29

Instead of little clothes and toothbrush, he'd have a wank mitten and some lentils in his suitcase.

mumatron Fri 30-Sep-11 22:52:44

I don't have enough imagination to write fake diary entries for the school bear and a mumsnet bear.

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 22:52:54

Yay! Am so pleased.

We could create one of those online blog things to post photos of his lazylife diverse extracurricular experiences.

I have a bear, unless anyone else has a spare going round?!

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 22:54:06

I could give him a sparkly ticker!! yes!

MurunBuchstansangur Fri 30-Sep-11 22:54:41

Can I take him to McDonalds and then to see the last Harry Potter?

BertieBotts Fri 30-Sep-11 22:55:59

I have HUNDREDS of bears. I feel like as soon as I do a charity shop clearout of them, more appear. Do they breed?

Valpollicella Fri 30-Sep-11 22:56:09

Oh, please can we do this.

I am willing to co-co-ordinate grin

Bogeyface Fri 30-Sep-11 22:56:14

Are we ok to wash it? TOWIE and Nutella? I mean...........grin

I think it is a super idea!

picnicbasketcase Fri 30-Sep-11 22:56:55

Can I take a picture of him laying on his back in amongst empty lager cans and fast food wrappers? I really wanted to with the nursery class bear but DP said they wouldn't find it funny.

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDawn Fri 30-Sep-11 22:57:23

What if someone poisoned him with a whispers fruitshoot?

MurunBuchstansangur Fri 30-Sep-11 23:00:21

a berjazzle! grin

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:02:22

Valpollicella would love for you to co-co-beardinate...

Pom Bear Bares All... or something.

Size of bear might be a consideration though, for being passed on.

UterusUterusGhali Fri 30-Sep-11 23:03:44

Oh, yes please.

It would turn into a massive ponce-off though, wouldn't it. Like the school bears.

Dosen't MN aready have a bat? Can we purloin it from the American Uni or wherever it came from?

Valpollicella Fri 30-Sep-11 23:07:03

We want ponce offs though.

And then there would be competitive laziness

Then the inbetweens

Fermit, am good to go if we get more people on board grin

MurunBuchstansangur Fri 30-Sep-11 23:08:11

dear jeff, we need the bat.......

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:09:30

Yes, we would effectively need a mailing list that was controlled, a blog bear site, and an appropriately sized postage friendly bear.

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDawn Fri 30-Sep-11 23:09:38

<jumps up and down> Me Me! Pick ME! wants MN Bear to come and visit We can take to Aldi to buy naice ham grin

cece Fri 30-Sep-11 23:13:25

Bohica Fri 30-Sep-11 23:13:26

I would love a MN bear, it could come to stay and have a one night stand with DD's fairy bear.
Donkey would see it all from the toy chest and then gossip with Harrods bear who always thought Fairy bear would be his one day so it all kicks off and a some little people get injured in a bun fight so MN bear is asked to leave.

Fairy bear sobs into DD's pillow for a night or 2 until tie my laces doll takes her to razzle and she gets pissed on pink cocktails and has a snog fessed with Harrods bear.

So much better than school bear who needs to be photographed in the largest garden on the most expensive wooden climbing frame and has jacket pots wih cavier for his tea.

You know there will be bearbumsex

mumatron Fri 30-Sep-11 23:15:05

Count me in then.

I'll be in the competitive laziness camp grin

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:16:30

spreadsheet time smile

lisad123 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:17:16

But how long would it be before he is bear knapped and held for a ransom of gregs sausage rolls, a holiday to butlins and a large can of stella!! grin

MurunBuchstansangur Fri 30-Sep-11 23:17:26

rofl bear bumsex smile

Flowerista Fri 30-Sep-11 23:17:39

If Pombear comes to stay do you get P&C parking with NO RESTRICTIONS?

lisad123 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:18:50

I think we need to apply for a blue badge and a radar key grin

Valpollicella Fri 30-Sep-11 23:22:44

Here's what I'm thinking

Shall we set up a yahoo/hotmail acc that people can email to register interest.

You can register interest with RL name or MN name (whatever you feel comfortable with). That way your MN name doesn't ever get linked with your RL name.

If you choose your MN name the parcel could then be forwarded to you as MNer of the House (seems to work well for the Xmas Appeal)

You then decide if you want to blog about Pom under:

Your RL Name
MN Name
or you could ask to be assigned MNer001 (and so on) as your blog posting name

We set up a blog page (hmm, am not so hot on those....Fermit??)

There will be a data protection disclaimer as wel for your address etc

<'s late...>

Iggi999 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:25:35

No no no to the bumsex blush
What will he/she be called?

Iggi999 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:27:14

Oops just read the name (that's not copywrite is it?)

lisad123 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:27:30

I'm in grin

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:27:58

Wow! That's good thinking. Do you want to handle the email yahoo/hotmail side data protection (it sounds like you know your stuff) and I'll do the blog bit? Should be able to set it so that you can post to a site either as one or mutiple users.

I have about six names so far... I think.

Iggi999 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:28:40

Or copyright, even.
God I'm not even drunk.

Sounds like a great idea. He would have a really boring time at mine though - it would be like "here is bear unloading the shopping" and "here is bear doing some ironing"

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:29:40

Bear that fits through letter box or a bigger sized bear? As I said, do have one (ages ago gift) but am open to suggestions.

#ebays bear#

You could send him to me for a holiday abroad (Canada)

Iggi999 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:37:28

Fitting through letterbox would mean less time with "bear lying in local sorting office".
But will make the bumsex more difficult.

lisad123 Fri 30-Sep-11 23:43:08

Do you think mn would let it Ne part of their feature bloggers grin
It would be great if he could fit in letter box, a bit like flat stanley (please tell me I'm not alone in having to read those books as a kid) blush

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:45:01

Lisa I just ordered flat stanley this evening for my nephew!

FermittheKrog Fri 30-Sep-11 23:48:01
Valpollicella Sat 01-Oct-11 00:04:55

Think we should have further conflabs and a bump for this tomorrow Fermit grin

Lisad, I think MNHQ should be made to have it as a top blogger grin

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:09:07

Good Grief.

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:11:15

I would put in in the cupboard under the stairs and shut the door for a week.....until it is flea ridden <from my dogs> and the rats have chewed it's arm orf.

If he came to me he would get CLOTHES, a sex change and a tiara

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:14:49

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:16:24

Honeydragon Sat 01-Oct-11 00:18:51

Let reeling have it first grin

You need a kick arse name for a mnet bear

Bumsex Bob

Roger Wankerly TinkleTits

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:22:04

And then i'll bury it (metaphorically speaking) in the garden.

Sir Roger Wankerly TinkleTits surely?

reelingintheyears Sat 01-Oct-11 00:23:09

I will care for the barearsedthing.

BertieBotts Sat 01-Oct-11 00:28:58

It's simpler than that. Get one (or two) people to be in charge and have the password to the blog, set them up a free email ( or whatever) and then get interested folks to send an email, or post on a thread, or whichever way to register interest. When it's time to pick a new person, choose one from the list, PM them or email back to confirm they are still interested, and then get address details off-board.

Once someone has the bear, they should send their write-up and pictures to the email address, in a specified format, e.g. write-up should be either in the email or in Word, no pictures IN the write up if in word, pictures separately as jpgs, renamed to "Picture 1" "Picture 2" etc. (I'm sure someone can find links to explain these for the non-technically minded) and they can put lines in the text which just say [insert picture 1] etc. Then one of the people in charge can just copy and paste the text over to the blog, insert the pictures where appropriate, and you're done.

BertieBotts Sat 01-Oct-11 00:30:03

And I'd offer to help but I'm crap at keeping on top of things and tend to forget I even have an email account for weeks at a time.

beararse Sat 01-Oct-11 00:37:52

Count me in. I salute you Fermitt!alute you Fermitt!

Soooooo excited about this. Am actually planning a teeny tiny patchwork quilt for her already ( and a sex change, as previously mentioned)

<waves at beararse>

I will lend you a computer when you arrive with my brekkie in bed

hairypotter Sat 01-Oct-11 00:58:35

Can I play? I've got previous experience of badly behaving class bears (see other thread)

Stick Sir Roger Wankerly TinkleTits in a jiffy bag and post to Hairy Towers. Too exciting for words

Fimo food!
I can make really good bananas and grapes and a pretty impressive cake.

My DD is 17 and I can't play like this anymore

posterofaquiche Sat 01-Oct-11 01:03:02

Me me me me ohhhhh me, I want to play!!!

nancythursday Sat 01-Oct-11 06:38:47

Can I take him to a lapdancing bar?

Iggi999 Sat 01-Oct-11 08:28:57

It is so sad that this is the first thing I thought about when I got up this morning.

Honeydragon Sat 01-Oct-11 08:43:58

Oh ok Norks

You can have Lady Twuntington

count me in smile

FagAshLill Sat 01-Oct-11 10:38:08

DooinMeCleanin Sat 01-Oct-11 10:44:10

What about when the bears comes back smelling of fags, wine, coffee and dogs?

Not that those things are important in my life, of course hmm

ooh yes, lets do this. i'll get his ears pierced and let him drink fruit shoots, then go shopping for naice ham.

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 10:55:18

Ok! Update - you can now email to register your interest at

There will be a discussion later about Data Protection and people's addresses. This has obviously been done before with the Christmas Appeal, blankets etc, so I want to make sure it's done properly.

For example, will do as much as necessary to make sure real life names are not linked with their mn username ones.

MotherPanda Sat 01-Oct-11 11:01:49

Oh I'm so excited! Will turn the bear into a tiny panda, of course. will email right right away smile

rushofbloodtothefeet Sat 01-Oct-11 11:36:24

<gets reluctantly drawn back in>

Whatever the bear 'type' they need to be either bought in bulk or be easily obtainable - for the inevitable Royal Mail 'lost bear' fuckups and other tragic incidents (I'm not ruling out bear-napping)

Will those of us who are too lazy busy to have the bear still be able to read about his adventures, Fermit? If the bear came to stay here, I'd have to be really really careful not to leave him where the dog could get hold of him, otherwise my photos and blog might be rather distressing. Said bastard dog woke me up at 5.41 this morning trying to get one of my favourite boots through the stairgate so she could eat that one as well as the other one she'd already eaten - bastard hound.

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 17:26:09

Project Bear is moving forward - I have the blog and email being set up, would like to get at least ten definites so there is enough people to send it onto iyswim - those who have already emailed I'll be in touch with shortly, and PM the ones on this thread who said so too.

He's hopefully already on the brink of first adventure!

SDTG - yes, you would, that's what the blog would be for too, so you get the visuals as well as the story. smile

Tortington Sat 01-Oct-11 17:35:10

can the bear come to the xmas do?

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 17:41:49

Yep! just depends on who has it by then.

PonceyMcPonce Sat 01-Oct-11 17:42:55

Pls include me. I could not bear to miss out.

Nb high quality writing here.

Will knit scarf for wee Pom

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 20:02:44

Ok, I have here an initial list of people who have either expressed an interest in participating or who have emailed me (I hope!). If you wish to have the bear sent to you could you please PM me with your address and the name you wish to have it addressed to. I will promise that the address will only be known to me, and the person who will post the bear onto you.

I suggest the bear is kept for up to a week - depending on what the person wants!

If I have left you off, or you no longer wish to participate, please let me know, I want to have a definite short list. Thank you to the people who have emailed also - all you need to do is add an address!

BertieBotts ?

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 20:04:39

Oh dear, straight away I missed someone:

BertieBotts ?

All of the above please send an address and/or PM/email to confirm your participation if you have not already!

I really hope I have not missed anything! Even though I am a teacher, I am only a novice bear co-ordinator. The blog is up and running though! smile

You will give instructions, teacher, won't you?
I am a complete virgin blogger

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 21:12:13

There is what we teachers call a model example here:

The blog is now up and running for you to peruse as and when smile

Oh yes, this is going to be good.
The poor Pom is going to be pissed in every blog.

Iggi999 Sat 01-Oct-11 21:38:28

I love it grin

RebeccaMumsnet (MNHQ) Sat 01-Oct-11 22:08:49

Can PomTheBear come a spend a week at the Towers?
We have plenty of biscuits?

That would be fantastic!

Perhaps she could moderate some of the fiestier threads as well, and instead of "message deleted by MumsNet", it could say "message deleted by bear"

My nephew had his nursery bear the same weekend I gave birth and my sister was a birth partner. Guess who else came along? Yup, baker bear! I'dve loved to have read his diary for that day grin

I think this is a fantastic idea!

Actually, HAVE you sexed the bear, fermit. as she only arrived today, and has had a busy time already, you may not have had time to check her chromosomes for XX and XY.

How does one sex a soft toy, anyway?

(there's a sentence I don't type often)

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 22:22:25

I have listed it's gender as other ;) Am happy for this to be open to interpretation - just as I am for other names to be given and adornments to be added as appropriate.

I think a sojourn at the Towers would be fabulous! I am sure the biscuits will be of an excellent quality.

BertieBotts Sat 01-Oct-11 22:44:00

Haha, the blog is excellent!

Iggi999 Sat 01-Oct-11 22:45:33

Dammit, too late for Pom to have his first appearance on Questiontime.

androbbob Sat 01-Oct-11 23:04:04

Me too! Sending an email now grin

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 23:06:48

Excellent - how do you create a passport for a bear though??!! It could be used to trace his journey.

This one is beyond me. Anyone?!

FermittheKrog Sat 01-Oct-11 23:07:03

I made a passport for Blooberry, DDs bear 16 or so years ago. It said "Her Beartannic Majesty...etc etc", had a photo, distinguishing features ("this is a STUFFED TOY!!!"), and places for stamps from various countries (drawn by DD).

We still have the passport, but no longer have Blooberry sad

Could make one for Pom, if you like

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDawn Sun 02-Oct-11 01:06:46

Perhaps if Wee Pom waited until after Christmas to enter the bosom of the PomBear family, she could join with the Tuna family in celebrating the safe return of Miguel grin I would say was here on Christmas day to witness said reunion and after all, we are fellow PomBears, but never let it be said I am a pushy person... polishes halo primly

FermittheKrog Sun 02-Oct-11 10:40:53

I now have a beautiful spreadsheet that hopefully details the first ten ish contacts that have agreed to have Pom.

It was done purely on who registered interest/details first - and I can see from the list Pom is truly off to a diverse number of places!

Your name/address will only be shared by the person who is sending the bear onto you, and my spreadsheet.

I have been thinking about the blog itself and have two suggestion - one that you email me your blog entries and photos/ captions and I'll do it for you or two: I'll give you the (fairly generic) password and you can upload it yourself however many times you like over the week or so you have the bear. For example if you had him a week you might like to make two or three entries, rather than one long one. I will leave that decision up to each individual hostess as they recieve Pom, and they can email me with their preferences to

Does that sound ok?

A couple of more days with me (no post on a Sunday) and then Pom is off on the travels! The only clue I'll give is that the destination is rather a long way from Bristol. smile

beararse Sun 02-Oct-11 11:09:52

<ridiculously excited>

Wow! Is it a surprise who it's going to first? This is really exciting! Can't wait to read the blog smile bear

Will Pom be doing the rounds with a Scottish vet as her first adventure. Can't wait to see smile

BelleDameSansMerci Sun 02-Oct-11 22:44:19

Bloody hell <shakes head>

Love this... Please can those who aren't funny enough not joining in still see the blg, etc?

BelleDameSansMerci Sun 02-Oct-11 22:44:38

See the blog, even...

I am re-considering my initial excitement.
Just had a weekend with DS's class bear
It was exhausting
I am still up, finishing off his homewprk

BertieBotts Mon 03-Oct-11 00:58:04

There was a link to the blog on the last page, Belle smile

BelleDameSansMerci Mon 03-Oct-11 06:58:18

Note to self - read thread properly...

Have PMed. Am already hoping something poncey is in progress when he visits.

Twattingcuntybollocks Mon 03-Oct-11 10:38:27

<fails miserably> blush

HelenMumsnet (MNHQ) Mon 03-Oct-11 14:10:29

ROFL at this thread.

Two v imp questions:

1. Has PomBear applied for his blog to be part of the Mumsnet Bloggers Network?

2. When is PomBear coming to MNHQ?

Honeydragon Mon 03-Oct-11 14:12:02

typical HQ, jumping on the bandwagon, acting like you own the place........

multipoodles Wed 05-Oct-11 08:38:58

What's happening to Pom Bear? Has he continued his journey?

LynnCSchreiber Thu 06-Oct-11 16:01:22

Oh, I love this. Great blog. Definitely needs to be featured blog on the Bloggers' Network.

Am emailing you. Will Pombär be allowed to go abroad? I am happy to pay the extra postage.

Ineedacleaneriamalazyslattern Thu 06-Oct-11 16:19:39

OMG me me me I LOVEd having the nursery bear home I want a shot too grin
[needs to get out more emoticon]

Lotkinsgonecurly Thu 06-Oct-11 16:23:54

I'm really interested in the wanderings and musings of POMBEAR but so don't want to have him. Otherwise he'd be sat in the boot of our car for the times we have him as we did with the others from various pre schools. Clifford the sodding dog and Barnaby the £80 bear with his own shoes! We didn't let Barnaby loose anywhere.

fluffywhitekittens Thu 06-Oct-11 19:21:04

I love his/her ticker smile

ScaredBear Thu 06-Oct-11 19:26:14

serin Thu 06-Oct-11 20:20:25

Brilliant idea.

aloiseb Fri 07-Oct-11 00:08:07

I think this is excellent, and I would like to be added to the list please? I don't have facebk, twitter or any of those things so can't comment on the blog. I don't have time becasue I am too busy trying to save my house from becoming Steptoe's Yard (my mum says it already is) but Pombear might like to come and see what he thinks.
Is it indeed as allergic as a haynet?

AnyoneButLulu Fri 07-Oct-11 08:02:23

Very much up for it. DD will dress Pom up in a range of sparkly outfits and I will decide whether to go down the UberParent or conpetitively slack route depending on our dates.

housemum Fri 07-Oct-11 13:48:49

I am already having panic attacks that one week I shall be landed with Bertie Bear (preschool), Belinda Bear (Brownies) and Charlie Bear (year 4) all at the same time, am sure I would lose one or send it to the wrong place. The potential bear threesome doesn't bear (sorry) thinking about. What if Belinda gets pregnant, will Brown Owl ever forgive me? Is Pom a boy or a girl? how would he/she/non-specific-gender fit into this ursine mix?

BodyUnknown Fri 07-Oct-11 21:43:44

I actually have a (teddy)bear called Pom in my house. He is called Pom because he was given to me by Polly and Dominic! Never thought of his snacky namesakes til this thread smile

FermittheKrog Sat 08-Oct-11 21:19:27

Pomdate: Belated

Apologies everyone. This thread has been left to slide a bit by me despite the initial enthusiasm and lovely way you have all taken up the cause of this bear.

I can do nothing except blame work - it took over this week in a big way, meaning two late nights lateness and I was brain dead by Thursday. I am beary sorry sad

I have now delegated the role of postie to a well-meaning friend who was going to the Post Office. Pom should be arriving at his new destination next week. (Really, honestly, truly)

The other reason why he has been sent out slightly later, is I had to finalise something official regarding his travel arrangements. The first recipient will hopefully understand what I mean! smile

I am also pleased to announce that pomunteering (is this getting old yet?) is such that he/she* looks set for residences to visit until January at least. I am in the process of updating my spreadsheet as we speak! This is assuming each host/ess keeps Pom for about 7 days - you are of course welcome to send him off sooner if you wish. The address of the person you are to send him onto will be PM'd or emailed to you within the same time as you receive Pom.

I am going to try now to respond to the backlog of correspomdence (... yes) I have had recenty. Thank you for your pomtience (yes, enough I know) :S

Fermit x

* PS - I am still thinking that his/her gender is other/ambiguous, in the 21st century who am I to label a bear? Each host can decide as they wish. Plus, as someone asked way back in the thread, I can find no answer to the question as to how you ascertain the sex of a bear.

FermittheKrog Sat 08-Oct-11 22:11:08

Now individual ones on here. I have hopefully got back to anyone who has emailed or pm'd, if you think I have not, please check! Thank you.

Body Pom is pleased there are other of his name out there, he is yet to meet the snack version ....

housemum wow that would be a lot of bears, you could have an uber-pretentious bear picnic of goasts cheese and rocket salad and salmon and of course the snacks mentioned above. Possibly sew glue a badge onto the bear to appease/ further enrage Brown Owl?

AnyoneButtLulu - sparkly things sounds great, I love them! And what bear wouldn't?

Helenmumsnet - RebeccaMumsnet has been in contact and hopefully he'll be with you around early/ mid November. Ish. I am being very vague at the moment, as will discover how easily the travel logistics work once s/he is out and about.

Norks a friend had something to suggest re: the passport, but it won't last forever, I'll let you know smile

Thanks for the update.
I expect you will not be the only person whose life gets in the way of a small fluffy bear.

However, I am camped by the lethargic, just in case

Lethargic = letter box!

IPads are such fun hmm

FermittheKrog Sun 09-Oct-11 19:07:17

Thanks Norks smile

Well, it's been posted, so hopefully it should arrive for the next person by mid-week!

#fingers crossed#

pomthepombear Fri 14-Oct-11 19:49:10

Evening everyone, I have arrived at a new location on my grand tour and will see what is in store for me tomorrow.

SnapeShifterFormerlyFermit Fri 14-Oct-11 21:41:30

Pomdate: I am pleased to announce that Pom has arrived at his/her first destination! Iggi999 is playing host to Pom this week, and I look forward to hearing their incredibly pretentious/ slattern antics (delete as appropriate)

Pomderous Sat 15-Oct-11 18:15:59

Advert posted shortly. smile

oooh me! what a fab idea!

prioneyes Sat 15-Oct-11 18:34:35

Hope you've had a nice day Pom smile

Pomderous Sat 15-Oct-11 18:48:18

In future, could you PM all Pom related things to this username - including if you would like to have him visit!

and wanted!

Are you a fan of bears? Especially Pom ones? One Pom one in particular?

Might you know how to look after his hostess list and correspomdence? And even possibly help with the (easily figurable outable) blog?

Are you addicted to fond of spending time on MN?

Have just logged onto the blog (boring day at work) and saw that POM HAS REACHED SCOTLAND-

iggi999 Mon 24-Oct-11 17:55:09

Could you read the blog Norks? Not sure if I did it right.
Sorry, if Pom did it right.

Pom was very clever, especially taking all those self portraits when he was clearly very very very drunk on a combination of absinthe and whisky.

I hope he dries out a bit before he comes to visit me. I don't want to receive POmVom in a parcel

That sounds like something you could market, pomvom for christmas present, maybe for that awkward relative.

badoomtish Mon 24-Oct-11 20:29:33

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore Mon 24-Oct-11 20:40:51

HOW did I miss this? Fab idea! Can I do it too? Pom should come to me only when he needs some R & R though- very quiet, very countryside here... Only chickens and dog to contend with.

Blatherskite Mon 14-Nov-11 14:24:38

Hulababy Wed 23-Nov-11 21:59:58

Been following the blog smile

Did you get my email?

minimuffy Fri 13-Jan-12 22:35:44

why no pom update in so long?

i was really enjoying his adventures!

I sent Pom to MNHQ.
They kidnapped Pom and HAVE NOT SENT HIM forth into the world.

there have been vague promises and stuff.
I am not impressed sad

..........and I included real edible PomBears and chocolate teddies.
MNHQ have scarfed down the lot, burped and stuffed Pom in a cupboard
sad bear sad

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom Fri 20-Jan-12 00:06:58

That Miliband man has bearnapped him! He is recovering in therapy and rehab or so they say... I bet he's really cowering down the back of the filing cabinet and wishing he was back safe in the nice warm police cell!

ohbugrit Fri 02-Mar-12 18:57:43

Where is Pom then? Did he make it to Switzerland or wherever it was he was meant to be going or have MNHQ properly lost him? sad

AntlersInAllOfMyDecorating Sun 04-Mar-12 16:30:13

I am Pom's guardian-from-afar. He was in Switzerland and is now back in the UK care of the lovely MdeLindor. No word from Mumsnet on an update though. sad

Beefwellington Sun 04-Mar-12 19:55:47
