Hiya, I was just curious if anyone else on mn has triplets and twins?

I've got triplets who are now 3 years and 3months, and I'm pregnant with twins, who are due on 1/20/08...just wondering if anyone has experiences of having 5 children who are under 4? Or twins and triplets?

Congratulations!

Hello i have 2 sets of twins! my last pregnancy was triplets but one didn't develop properly early on

I have 4 singletons too, so a huge family of 10!!

Kids ages are 14,11,9,8,6,6,2,2.

It can be hard at times have so many little ones, but it does pass (and when i look back quite quickly too) it all depends on your children, i was lucky, my boys were all very calm and lazy, good eaters and sleepers so it wasn't that bad.

My youngest twins now are crazy, if i had had then as the first set of twins i would have found it a lot harder!

I don't have twins, but I do have 8 year old triplets and a 14 year old boy. Have you ever been onto the Triplet Connection? I found that site invaluable when my kids were younger.

Thanks for all your wellwishes idobelieveinfaries, you are amazing! 8 kids, I always wanted a large family...... but I'm quite content at the moment...... no more for me for a while.

menageriekeeper- i've never found my way to the triplet connection site, what exactly is it? I'll have to check it out some time. I have recently found the MOST site, which seems brilliant, and it has loads of triplet, quad, quint, and sextuplets mums on there. Love the name btw, it suits my house perfectly! (maybe it's a triplet thing?)

it's the tripletconnection.org. I found it better than MOST, and you don't have to pay anything to interact in all the forums.

my goodness, you're in for some hard work. we have two sets of twins (4 under 15 months) and i thought that was hard enough. but on the bright side, twins will seem like a walk in the park compared to triplets!

your big kids might have to become a bit more independent. can you get help at night so you can sleep while the newborns are still awake all night? without that i would currently be dying...

my advice would be to beg/borrow/steal that help!

Wow, and I thought twins were bad! Twins will probably seem so easy for you after triplets, congratulations!

Tripletsandtwins- a friend might be in your situation in a few months, all being well. I will try to put her in touch with you. She has twins, and is now pregnant with triplets. She's not a mumsnetter yet though.

Hi, i'm new to the forums and am expecting triplets in September. This is my first pregnancy so a little apprehensive about having to deal with three at once but very happy to be having a ready-made family!!
