Good luck mrsa!

I didn't have a show as such, my waters broke in spectacular fashion at around 2.10am when I was 35+6.

I immediately started having contractions after that.

I had lost my mucus plug around 10 days previously.

Twins were delivered at 4.26 and 4.27 by EMCS as Twin 1 was a footling breech. I was already 4cm dilated when they examined me in the hospital at 3.15am.

They weren't my first babies if that makes any difference.

Hope it all goes well for you!

I lost my mucus plug at 32 weeks exactly, and the membranes around Twin 1 ruptured a couple of days later. I stayed in hospital for observation with labour expected to start, but my cervix remain closed and no contractions began, so I had a planned induction at 34 weeks. My boys spent 12 days in neonatal and are now 8 weeks old and doing fine!

I never had one. Waters went at 34+4, contractions started the next day and babies were born by emcs at 34+5 as both were transverse.

Silly question (and sorry to hi-jack your thread mrsa), but if/when your waters go/you go into labour, do the hospital scan you to see what position the babies are in, or can they just have a prod around and feel them like a singeton?

rocker - in my hospital they did both.

Firstly a doctor did an internal and said he could feel a hand (it wasn't a hand it was a foot).

Then I had a scan where the doctor performing it said that Twin 1 had turned cephalic and asked me why I didn't want a vaginal delivery.

Fortunately someone far more experienced took over and once the footling breech was found, I was rushed to theatre.

I was scanned quite regularly in the 30 hours between my waters going and the emcs. Babies heart rates were almost continuously monitored.

How are you doing op? I had emcs 48 hours after my show.
I hope you're ok Flowers

Currently debating whether my waters are leaking or just watery discharge...Hmm

quite certain it is just watery discharge but will keep am eye on it. Otherwise no contractions/cramps etc. back ache has gone... I definitely had my show, but just waiting for something to happen is killing me!

All ok though thanks Smile
