Afternoon everyone
I am 33 weeks pregnant with identical twin boys & had my " show " last night & all throughout this morning and I'm unsure if I have to phone to let my midwife know or if I just contact her when I start getting contractions?
Also, how long after your show did you start to go into labour? Thank you in advance xx

No show for me. Waters went at 34+4, contractions started the next afternoon and babies were delivered by emcs that evening.

I would definitely phone your midwife. Good luck, it is so exciting!

My waters started to go at 32.4 then had a show next day and full blown labour that night.
I would contact the hospital for advice, they may want to assess you. Good luck Flowers

My show went th morning of my 36 week antenatal appointmt. I told every professional I saw that it had gone ( and was continuing to go during the day) and nobody was interested telling me it didn't mean anythung was about to happen. My waters went that evening.

I would just call them and let them know tbh.
I know labour can be a while after a show but with twins they may want to assess you.
It's so exciting, good luck Thanks

Hi dawn, I would speak with your midwife ASAP, they may want to give you steroid injections to mature babies lungs. I had one of mine at 33 + 4 and this is fairly standard practice if they are concerned you may go into labour. Give the mw a call and let us all know how you get on.

I've just phoned the on call midwife & to be honest she didn't seem that bothered. She said because nothing else has happened today it was nothing to worry about.....
I am getting period like pains (but I've been suffering from Braxton Hocks so put it down to that) and they're not regular so I guess I'll just wait it out until I start to get contractions or another show/mucus plug. Not sure what else I can do?! X

I would go to triage at the hospital personally.
