You might get more replies in the Pushchair topic. Anyway, depends what you want really. Side-by-side or tandem? Are you urban or rural? Do you need to go off-road or strictly pavements and parks? Whats your budget?

Baby Jogger City Mini double. I have the standard rather than the GT. The latter is a bit more expensive. It's fab.

I've got a nipper 360 v2 which is great. I did quite a bit of research first as didn't want to go through several before getting one that suited us. It depends what's most important for you e.g. I wanted a side by side I could get through our front door and when folded into the back of my not very big boot.

Well, I love my donkey, but it all depends on budget, location, how/when you plan to use it, and whether or not you like tandem or side by side.

The merits of the donkey (which, by the way, we bought lightly used for half the price of a new one) are as follows:

  • very narrow for a double, has the footprint of a wheelchair so it goes through standard doors and anywhere that is handicap accessible (most places these days)
  • parent-facing option
  • converts to a single with handy basket when necessary
  • super light to push and very responsive, whippy steering
  • looks nice
  • telescoping handle good for tall people
  • takes two side by side car seats

The negatives are that it is quite bulky to get in a boot and it is quite expensive new.

Mountain buggy duet is fab in every way except lifting into car, it's quite heavy. Off- road it really is good, a quality piece of kit (the accessories such as carrycots best bought and sold on eBay, I made a small profit on mine having only used them for 10 weeks)..I would highly recommend.

I've had the Donkey and the Baby Jogger City Mini Twin. Donkey was great for the first nine months or so, then I got annoyed with the size of the chassis and taking seats on / off to fold.

Love the BJCM.

Nipper 360. Really nice to push when off road (taking short cuts through park to docs etc) or on pavement, doesnt veer to one side with uneven weighted children, folds up small, good resale value. Huge shopping space. Lasts forever.

We have a Nipper 360 and a Baby City Mini Jogger. We used the Nipper from newborn.

We bought the BCMJ as it would fit in the very back of our S max when using all of the seats (which we only do occasionally). It is also amazingly easy to collapse and lighter to put in the boot.

The Nipper handles brilliantly and is fantastic for off roading. Mine are almost 2 now and I can still push it one handed easily, unlike the BJCM.

Baby Jogger City Mini double. It's brilliant. We got it when they were 10 months old, I wish we had had it from birth. The seats recline fully so you don't need the carrycot type things.

I had a Nipper 360 and thought it was fantastic. I had it from birth until they grew out of it and it was the only buggy I had. It was easy to handle and very light. I live in the country and it was really good for country walks, on the beach and in the town.
I don't know if the cosy toes have improved, I wasn't impressed with them and bought other ones. My DT slept outside in the buggy most afternoons, even in the winter.

I had an I Candy from birth and changed to a Nipper 360 at 6 months. I love the 360, easy to push, fits through doors, great on public transport. Happy shopping!

Mountain buggy duet. Brilliant. Very narrow and easy to push. Fits through all internal doors in our house which the nipper does not- tried a friend's and it wouldn't even get through front door.
So with MBD, if they fall asleep in pram after a walk you can take them inside and leave them in it.
Congratulations by the way!
