How do you cope with twins who can't walk, wanting to walk?!

My DTs turned one last week and aren't crawling, they just want to walk, but can't do it on their own yet. So they hang onto a finger with each hand, and charge off. Because they've never crawled they have no concept of how to fall, or that if they hold onto things they can pull themselves up.

I don't know what to do about them needing me all the time. If I'm in the room they both want to be on me, putting their arms up to be walked!! It's exhausting for all of us. And my back is so sore! We have a walker and a bouncer but the charms of these are starting wear off, they just want to be on the move.

I guess they've had so much attention the past ten days and I'm paying the price for it now. I'm trying to teach them to pull themselves up but it's not going well, any ideas? There was a twin mum at a party we went to yesterday, she said for her it got so much easier when they could walk...fingers crossed!

I found with mine it just came at their pace. One of them crawled and was happy to and the other went straight to pulling himself up then walking. As for getting easier, well then I had tow mobile children and one set of hands Hmm
