Hi Lou I understand I am 28 weeks with identical girls I alo have four other dc's the youngest only 17 months. Am finding this pregnancy difficult. Whereabouts are you I would love to meet up with another twin mum to be. Make sure you tell your consultant how hard you are finding things, mine prescribed medication to help me relax/ sleep at night as my pain was so bad.
Carrying two babies is hard work! I had a lot of aches and pains towards the end, the last 4 weeks were by far the worst. I remember the hip and pelvic pain well and I was living on paracetamol. On the plus side a c section recovery is less painful than the last few weeks of being pregnant. My babies were in SCBU for 2 weeks and the first night on the ward after the c section was utter bliss. I could turn over, get up without the enormous and painful bump.
Brilliantly and painfully and it's not something I'd want to do again! They're nearly 15 now and vaguely human some of the time. Get the kids onboard helping you - they're big enough to help you with loading and unloading the washing machine etc.
I probably am but I live miles from any family, my partner works away all week, I have no transport and I have an 8yr old and nearly 7 yr old. Waaahhhhhh!!!! Bit of self-pity there but I am beginning to feel a little desperate. Just want them here safely!
Wow! Triplets eh? My MW was convinced these were triplets as she thought the Doppler was picking up a third heartbeat. It turned put to be an echo. Given my circumstances it's probably just as well!! You did brilliantly to get that far!
It's normal and hang in there. I eventually had my triplets (pair and a spare) bgb at 33wks2days and it was a massive relief. If you're getting loads of Braxtons, then chances are you're doing a bit too much.
Hello Everyone, I'm Louise and I'm expecting identical twin girls. I'm finding it nerve wracking - so many more aches and pains that with my 2 older singletons. I stumbled upon this site in the bleak early hours of this morning and it was a huge comfort. I keep getting Braxton Hicks and as both babies are currently head down, feel like they're about to fall out any second . Please tell me it'd normal to be enormous, scared, exhausted and crippled by 26 weeks lol!! I'm a little stressed. Thanks xx
