Im just a little concerned at her lack of wanting to stand at all. She just folds when you try put her standing up.

Have you spoken to your hv ? Everything is probably fine but it might be worth getting checked out even if its just to set your mind at ease.
What happens if you put favourite toys on the sofa ? Will she try to pull herself up thrn ?

If you go by their corrected age, they're actually only 16 months. Sounds like twin two has found her own way to get around. My triplets walked late - the boys at 17 months and DD was 18 months. She had no build up to it, just decided that she was going to do it one day and did it in spades. She needed shoes 2 weeks later as she was running. You two are still well within the normal range for learning to walk. However, if you are concerned, do have a chat with your health visitor.

my twins walked late, one at 16 months and the other at 18 months, so perhaps do not worry too much.

My ID twins didn't walk until about 22/24 months. Now they are seven and a half all they do is run!
They will get there when they are ready, but if you are worried ask your HV.

Hi there LTL. I am in a very similar situation to yourself. I have 19 month old twin girls, who are 17 months old corrected age. Twin 2 who was the smaller and weaker of the two is walking although not for big distances and is still a little wobbly. She is also climbing all over the chairs and the seatee. Twin 1 however is not. She has been late in meeting all her milestones and has been diagnosed with having low muscle tone in her trunk area. We have been going to physio with her for months and they are trying to work with her and build up her strength. She also had a MRI scan last week just to rule out any underlying issues due to her being born premature. Fingers crossed that it will show up nothing but at least we will know one way or the other. My Twin 1 was the same as yours that she would just fold if you tried to get her to stand. After months of physio she can now pull herself up to stand if holding on to something. She also can get her bum and knees up when crawling were before she was more pulling with her arms and dragging her legs. It's slow progress though and I do feel disinhearted sometimes when I see ones her age and younger running about and she can only sit and watch. We are doing everything we can though to help her. Good luck, I hope all works out with your daughter.

Thank you all very much.

She will just scream if I put jer toys on the sofa. Little madam.

Alba. I think ill just call the hv maybe see if it is to do with muscle tone. At least it might put my mind at ease thank you.

It is a little upsetting that there not up and running it would make going to the oark etc a lot easier.
