How many pains did you have during twin pregnancy?

I'm now 24 weeks and I'm getting increased Braxton hicks over the days and today am having period type pains in my lower tummy and back

I was checked out on Friday and cervix is closed

My singleton pregnancies did not have this many pains at this stage

So I'm wondering if this is all normal and I need to shut up and put up or if I need keeping knocking on doors?

Yes I did have lots of twinges, stretching pains etc. Dts were. My first dc though so can't compare anything to a singleton pregnancy.
I thinks it's always best to err on the side of caution with multiples. If your worried get it checked out, it's more that likely growing and stretching pains but no harm in a quick phone call / visit to a midwife for them to confirm it.

I think most mw will understand and will want you to come in to be on the safe side.
I suffered with lots of constipation pains with my pregnancy, I had a mad dash to the GP surgery because I thought something was wrong and my GP said oh I think you just need a poo

I'm pregnant with my second set, only 9 weeks a long and I'm having cramping. Never had them in twin PG only when I carried ds1. A little worried but I have a scan in 3 weeks and no bleeding etc, so we'll wait and see.

My singleton I had no pains apart from spd, twin girls I had bad spd but carried on and had not many pains then waters went at 33 weeks then the 2nd set of twins was hell on earth, so many aches and pains and such bad spd I was bed ridden - was ambulanced from my hospital at 29 weeks as they thought they were arriving then and the special care unit didn't take them that early.
