Both twins heads engaged...

I'm 30+5 with MCDA twin girls and having scans every two weeks to keep a close eye on their weight and growth. On this latest scan the sonographer seemed really surprised that the twins heads were both engaged and immediately asked if we are due to see anyone as a follow up... We have, but it's with a registrar and not our consultant (who we've only met the once, annoyingly). Anyone else had this? Would you think there is anything to worry about?

I'm not worrying about it unduly and taking things as easy as possible, but the sonographers reaction to them being engaged keeps popping into my head.

Hi mrsdaisaku

How are you feeling now ?

If it were that serious, they would have told you. I think it is probably unusual but not serious, so try not to worry.
Why dont you give your MW a call, she will be able to reassure you more than I will.

Once the babies have engaged can they move out of position ? If so they could well do. My 2 were breach at 30 weeks and we were told they could easily move, but we have non ID twins so that may make a difference.

Hope your ok and not to worried.

Not worried at all today, seen both hospital registrar and midwife today for general check ups and I have two very healthily growing babies. I think I read more into the sonographers expression than I needed to. But thankyou for your reply, I appreciate it :)
