Funny Games US - did anyone see it the other night on Film 4?

Man that is a disturbing film - but I just wanted to ask anyone who saw it - did you think it was weird that the couple's son got brutally killed and they didn't seem to show any emotion over it? That really bothered me throughout the rest of the film.

Gave this a wide berth as I thought the original was utter cobblers. As has been everything else I've seen with Michael Haneke's name attached to it, now I come to think of it.
