Book club in Birmingham??

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a book club going on in Birmingham - one where people can all meet up and chat about a book...I'd love this! I adore reading, and I think this would keep me sane until I go back to work (Mum of a lovely but tiring 10-week-old!)
Love to hear from anyone with any info (or even anyone in Birmingham who wantes to start our very own book club!)
Jenny x

Hi Jenny, just bumping this for you.

I am in Brum and in a book club but we are closed to new entrants I'm afraid.

have you thought about startig your own? That's what I did.

Do you have friends from ante natal? They are often keen, as it's a few hours out on your own and it gets you back into reading.

Ask Mums at toddler group too.

I found I only needed to find two friends who were interested, they sked a couple of people and then we were up and away.
It then grew from there, once others hear about it and realise you're having fun (we don't talk about the book that much) they want to join.

We got to 9 and then closed the doors.

good luck with it.

Ask for advice on here about starting a club, you may get more rsponsse people may ignore thia as they're not in Brum.
