Hi I am new but would love to join 
Basically:
12 people sign up, each person choose a book
On a set date in the month you send your book to the person in the list after you
Over 12 months you'll receive 11 books (as well as sending one) and we can talk about them together on here as we read them.
We'll stick to paperbacks to keep postage costs down.

As long as you are not all mislit fans. Can't abide all those ''Daddy, why did you beat me'' books
I'm definately not into misery lit either
If it was just up to me I'd say:
NO misery memoirs
NO sci-fi
and no crime, unless it's something that is a bit outside the box

ME ME ME!! I am an avid reader!
But...err...what is MisLit?? Is it as it sounds? Misery literature??
How about chick lit? I LURRRVVEE chick lit since having my dd.
Getting there slowly... still need another 4 members please!!
Mislit = all those memoirs of terrible childhoods, forced prostitution, etc type stories
And don't know how everyone else feels about chick lit but I don't mind the odd bit of light reading now and again - hopefully everyone will pick books from different genres and we'll all get a chance to read books we mightn't usually!
