do tell, i have lots of books!

You start a thread saying 'Does anyone want to do a bookswap?' and once you have about a dozen eager participants, you make a list and each person passes their address onto the next person on the list. Then you each post a book to the person whose address you have. After a month, everyone posts their book on again and discusses it on MN, so after about a year, everyone should have read 12 books and have their own one back. Or, in the case of our one, descended into chaos after 6 months with about half the books missing due to the vagaries of Royal Mail/people leaving MN/forces of nature. HTH!
