oh thanks knackered -really kind of you to think of me...yes it was fine - went into hospital at 12, didn't get taken down til 4 and then home by nine. Haven't needed any painkillers and bleeding very light so that's better than I expected. Worst thing was the antibiotics which I had to take last night and made my tummy very unhappy through the night.

How are you feeling now ? Do you have a follow up ? I've got to go back in a fortnight because they want to do a scan to be 100% they got everything - apparently the neck of the womb was very tight so they think they got everything but didn't want to really be too forceful and risk a perforation

Oh and thanks for the tip re magazines etc and taking own pads - I did that and would recommend. The strangest thing is having to wear pads which I haven't done since I was about 14 (a long time ago !!)
