Desperate advice

I need some advice.

I had some bleeding on tuesday - quite old blood but alot of clots. Went to a&e where I was told my cervix was closed and I had to wait 2 days for a scan (as they knew it wasnt ectopic from an early dating scan I'd had at 6 weeks)Im 10 weeks now.

At the scan yesterday all was fine.

But today the blood is back and abit worse (in that its redder and a bit heavier). I dont want to go to hospital again as I feel Im making a fuss, the scan was only yesterday and it was fine. Nothing can have happened since then? Can it?

Thanks!

I called the docs and they said to go to a&e again. However when I did go to a&e the first time, they basically just sent me home with pain killers to wait for it to expel.

The bleeding has actually stopped now, and no clots. I have a midwifes appointment on monday anyway so maybe she can tell me more then?

I might just keep an eye on it tonight and if pain/blood gets worse, go up to hosp? Does that sound wise?

hi, really hope it's all okay. my friend had LOADS of bleeding in her first trimester and was convinced she'd lost the baby. he's almost a year old now. if the scan was reassuring then hopefully it is all fine. it's horrible, i know. most a+e units are pretty useless at early pregnancy assessments at weekends - the ultrasound machines/sonographers aren't usually around. so if you can hold on till monday you might spare yourself a pointless trip.

A&E were absolute rubbish. We waited 2 hours on a quiet tuesday morning, for a gynecologist to do the same test a smear nurse would do in 5 mins at my doctors.

And I dont think I could face the 'How many weeks WERE you?' questions again, when after all that, the baby was fine.

I hope its all ok, maybe this is just blood from whatever caused the last bleed.

Thanks for your support.
