Pain after 2 weeks (of ERPC)

Has anyone experienced this? I have pain like a bladder infection (though not like cistitis). Mentioned it in passing to nurse who was immunising my daughter and she said she could test for urine infection there and then. She did and I don't have an infection but do have pain (uncomfortable and seems to be getting worse). No doctors appointment until Monday - when I'm due back at work - so most likely won't get to the doctor until Wednesday now. I'm worried I've got some sort of womb infection, I had very little bleeding after the ERPC. Any advice on what I should do?

No advice or help I'm afraid, but I have exactly the same thing - pain when peeing etc and uncomfortable, um, bits. Would also like to know what's going on. Also had very little bleeding. I am 10 days after erpc.

Have you got a temperature? I believe this is the main symptom of infection. Typically I have lost my thermometer so cannot test... I was told that offensive discharge (bah humbug, most discharge is fairly offensive I reckon), flu like symptoms and a temperature where what to look out for.

Strange isn't it. I do have a thermometer so will check and keep my eye on it and the discharge etc (although I don't have that). Weird. I googled infections after ERPC and apparently bladder & kidney infections are common because of the catheter (I didn't know they used one in that sort of procedure). So watch out for it too... Thanks for replying. Gx

Not sure the use a catheter in such a short proceedure - although everything may relax as it were so they may do it just to be on the safe side. However having had a catheter for caesar it seems to actually be quite a complicated thing putting one in and taking it out again due to urethra muscles... sorry tmi. and if your nurse said no urine inf. then THAT bit is clear. It's juat the OTHER bit (the important one) that's uncertain. I would however suggest that everything in that region gets a bit screwed up (no puns please) - I also have the Dire Rear and I believe that's fairly common. Hope everything's ok though!
