Exercise after ERPC?

Does anyone know how long after an ERPC I should wait to start exercising?

I had it a week ago, have pretty much stopped bleeding now, and feel physically back to normal, if a little weary...

I asked the Miscarriage Association this question (I had my ERPC on 8th Jan so over a week ago), they said:

"As long as you feel physically ready, you can go back to your exercise routine when you want. Sometimes after a miscarriage/ERPC some women can feel physically weak for several days, so it is worth taking this time gently if this happens."

I started exercising again on Sunday just gone (so just over a week), I took it easy (I do a general aerobic type workout) and it was fine. I slept a lot after, but it was ok. So if you feel up to it, you could try some gentle exercise and ease in.

It has kind of helped for me to plan out some exercise/healthy eating type stuff, easing back into the routine I had before, as I feel like I have something positive to work on!!

Hope this helps, sorry about your miscarriage

That really helps goodluckbear, thank you.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been through this as well ; I have exactly the same urge as you to get back in the saddle and sort out some healthy stuff.
Here's to keeping fingers crossed that it both comes good in the end for both of us x
