Sometimes you do skip a period. It has happened to me in times of stress. It is normal, and unlikely I think to be anything to do with the MC. Except of course the stress of having had one and being very aware of your periods as a result. Personally, I don't recall my periods being any different after MC, but, as I said, I have missed periods at other times.

Sorry about the MC. They're not nice.

Hi shibby

Sorry to hear of your loss, I had mc in March too.

My periods are back to normal now so no advice to offer but didn't want you to think no one listening.

Maybe you should make an appt with the Dr?

Hi shibby
So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my first baby last year, and my gynaecologist said it can take a few months for cycles to return to normal after an mc. He said that if I was worried I could always do an ovulation test to make sure I was ovulating. But if you are worried, speak to your GP, he can do blood tests to make sure everything is OK. All the best xx

Hi Shibby

So sorry to hear of your loss. I just wanted to add that ater my 2nd MC the visits from Aunt Flo were all over the place! I think it was a combination of hormones trying to settle back into their cycle and the worry that something was wrong.

I spoke to my GP, who is a star, and he said that he was not concerned at all, in fact, he told me it was perfectly normal and that if I hadn't had a period in 6 months, to go back and see him!! Funnily enough, the day after seeing him, they returned!

The body does some strange and confusing things to us at times.

Good luck with the TTC x x
