I have a firend who had a cervical stitch - like yours her 1st pregnancy was fine but she lost the second as you did. She went on to have 2nd and 3rd children with a stitch and all was fine.

What a sad and horrible thing to happen I can't even being to imagine how you must be feeling ..

I had a quick look, and if you do a MN search on cervical stitch, you will come up with lots of threads.

this one looks quite recent and full of good advice.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss.

I've just finished reading Miscarriage: What Every Woman Needs To Know by Lesley Regan. She's an expert in the field of miscarriage, and there was something in the book about how cervical incompetence is used by some doctors as the explanation for any late miscarriage that they can't otherwise explain. I have no experience of this at all, but I just wanted to through the thought out there. I also really recommend the book.

I hope everything goes better for you next time.
