Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

normal scan or internal scan

I had a m/c last week, everything had passed, and i am due to go back to the hospital tomorrow, as they want to make sure that everything has passed, and it did.

I wondering if the scan they do is a normal one or internal scan, also is it still normal to have aching boobs, i passed everything on the 4th nov.

Thanks.

sorry to hear this. I had two miscarriages last year, one at 6 weeks, one at 7 weeks. After thte one at 7 weeks they did an internal scan to make sure everything had passed.

Aching boobs can still be normal as you probably still have pregnancy hormones in your system that can take a while to disappear.

They wanted to do an internal scan on me, i had it. Nothing there.
They wanted to take blood, i refused, didnt see the point.

Thanks belgo for getting back to me, i was also 7 weeks, this is also my second m/c to.

If you don't mind me asking did you go on to have any sucessful pregnancy's afterwards?.

I sometimes wonder will i always have m/c when i fall pregnant, should i be blessed that i have one.
