All, hope it's okay to ask for some advice here, I have no experience of miscarriage myself.
A work friend is 10 weeks pg and has been bleeding / cramping all weekend. The earliest the EPU can see her for a scan in next Wednesday.
She wondered if she should try and get an emergency appointment at her GP tomorrow but I figure there's probably no point? She was also wondering about having her hormone levels tested but I think it's too early for them to have dropped?
Beyond that, how best do I support her? She's being very matter-of-fact about it at the moment, says it doesn't feel real. She doesn't want people at work to know. Unhappily a friend who has become something of a work rival is about 6 months pg at the moment (not unhappily for her, but unhappy situation for my friend, if you get me).
Still keeping fingers crossed things might be okay.
