Please help

Hi ladies. I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant, I miscarried my first pregnancy in July this year at 7 weeks. Today I've been having not pain but like a dull ache to my lower left side of my stomach and also a dull ache in my lower back paired with the odd cramp. About a hour ago I went the toilet and when I wiped there was like a light pink Mucous after a few wipes it went and after another wee before there was nothing, I am so worried because of my previous miscarriage and I'll be devastated if this happens again. Can anyone advise if this is normal or should I be worried? I can't really do nothing because I'm not even 7 weeks to check if my baby is ok, I've also just went the toilet again an there was some light brownish discharge when I wiped. thanks for any advice X

Hi Gemma. It's so hard to know if this is bad news or not. It's perfectly possible that the aches are changes starting in your uterus and the spotting is implantation blood. Either way, take it easy and look after yourself. Try not to stress - easier said than done though, I know from experience. Have everything crossed for you X

Should add I have friends who have had significant bright red bleeding in early pregnancy and it's worked out ok!

I know, trust me! Whatever happens you will get through it, but it absolutely could all be fine so try to stay positive! Do you have support around you?
