hi I would appreciate any information if anyone has any. my sister recently had a miscarriage at 11/12 weeks, one week later her stomach is really bloated she looks at least three months pregnant up until 5 days ago she didn't look pregnant at all. She's still having mood swings and feels pregnant. I myself lost a baby that ended up being a twin and my other baby was perfectly fine. please help!

Was the miscarriage confirmed via ultrasound? Has she been to the hospital or was her loss at home? I have had three miscarriages, two natural, one surgical and with one of the natural ones this was confirmed via ultrasound. The other one never got anywhere HCG wise so it was pretty much just blood loss.

If she is absolutely sure she miscarried the baby then she needs to head to EPU and get scanned as she may have leftover products which need dealing with before infection kicks in.

thank you for reply! I'm sorry to hear of your losses :( she delivered the baby at the maternity hospital but they never scanned her, just said to repeat a pregnancy test in two weeks? she doesn't feel ill just really hormonal and extremely bloated. shes not in the country at them minute so she cant go to the hospital to have it checked out.

A pregnancy test can take 6 weeks to show up as negative. I would want to be ensuring the uterus was clear directly she got back
In the country.
