Waiting for scan on Sunday...

I found out I was pregnant on December 10th and we were so happy but since I have very irregular periods I got booked for an early dating scan. We had that scan on Tuesday (23rd) and saw a very healthy heartbeat and were told everything looked great, 7 weeks on the nose. Yesterday evening (Xmas day) I had some spotting, doctor over the phone said not to worry unless it got heavier and painful. Today it got heavier and there were clots. Went to a and e and got examined, we were told my cervix was closed so less likely to be a mc but I had to come back to epu on Sunday! Since coming home I passed a large clot when I went to the loo, deep down I know it was my baby but we have to wait til Sunday to find out for sure. I honestly don't know how to cope with this waiting game. Has anyone been in this situation?

I'm sorry you are going through this. I would try and have a scan tomorrow (sat) at your epu, if you don't want to wait. They should be sympathetic
