Advice on ovulation post MC

I have just had my second MC this year. This time was different though as my numbers only went up to around 200, it's just unfortunate that my body took a whole cycle to realise it wasn't viable. Hence 14 days bleeding to rid the uterus of, I assume, a very thick lining. Bleeding started at the time I would have expected my menstrual bleed.

Very early 10miu hpts are now showing a shadow of a line. Question is; do you think I will ovulate or get my next period first? Assuming CD1 was the first day of heavy flow, I am now on CD14, so normally I would have ovulated yesterday. My period is due in 11 days time. My body really likes to stick to the calender so I'm trying to work out whether I should start opk testing or just leave it until I bleed again.

I was told that hcg level has to be below 5 before you ovulate again. I had a d&c on the 13th May at 12 weeks due to miscarriage. I had my first negative test early last week and I today I'm having ov pains and ewcm. So I'm ovulating exactly 2 weeks after my d&c. Do you get signs of ovulation? Are you noticing any of those?

Thanks OTD. I'm so sorry for your loss Sad

I'm showing no signs of ovulating now, although I do feel like my libido is kicking back in again after feeling entirely disinterested for 6 weeks, so I assume my hormones have shifted somewhat.

I am hoping my body might gear up for ovulation now as opposed to gearing down to bleed again.

I would go with what you feel, if you want to have sex then go with it, I would make sure your tests are negative before you start trying again properly though.

Take care and be kind to yourself.
