Pregnancy after Miscarriage - Advice Please!

I had a miscarriage almost 2 years ago now at 7 weeks. My daughter was only 8 months old at the time so it was put down that the reason for it was because my body was still recovering from the first pregnancy.

Hubby and I would like to try for another child now. DD is 2.6 years, but I am concerned that the miscarriage might affect my chances? I am 24, so still quite young. DD was conceived 3 months into our relationship and we don't use protection, but nothing yet. Could there be a problem caused by the miscarriage, or do you think I'm getting a bit carried away over nothing? Please help!

Stop worrying! You are no more likely to have a m/c now simply because you've already had one. In fact, even when you've had three, you're still more likely to have a child than another. Statistically speaking. Smoking and caffeine are more likely to 'cause' a m/c than a previous m/c. I know you'll worry anyway, because you can never have another stress-free pregnancy once you've m/cd. But try not to. Read up on the subject - there's loads of stuff on the net - I found the statistics quite reassuring.

You need to relax. We had x2 mc before we finally got dd. It took us 4 years to finally have her.

The pregnancy was not without worry and stress though as this is expected when you have experienced a mc. Our dd is now 15 months and I am now 17 weeks pregnant. Again I am a worrier and concerned about everything but I take one day at a time.

BTW before dd it was takeing us on average 6-9 months to afll pregnant. LOL this time got us by surprise..one attempt only ..!!!!

Good luck xx

Stop Worrying and get pregnant! there is nothing to worry about. Whenever you get pregnant just take a step at a time carefully. No need to jump to things! just be careful and dont worry you will have a beautiful pregnancy and a beautiful baby soon in your arms .
