Hi I went for my 12 week scan today to be told no baby! I felt like I was literally going mad I have had severe nausea and vomiting and a bump!!! They think it's a molar pregnancy I've had blood tests and I'm back tomorrow for surgery. I've done lots of googling so saw the nausea is normal for this scenario so I guess this is happening!! It's a bit much to take on board tbh and feel like in going to need some advice and support. Hope you can help me. Xx

I'm so sorry Kat I think MMC is unbelievably cruel when you've had no reason to suspect all is not well. To be faced with the possibility of molar as well must feel completely overwhelming. Just take it one step at a time, get tomorrow over with then take some time to recuperate and to come to terms with the loss. The molar results will take a few weeks and you can cross that bridge later if it's confirmed. There is a molar support thread on here and women who have been through it who can support you.
For now, have some Flowers Wine Cake (no chocolate emoticon)
Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

No advice just wanted to send you lots of love. This forum is full of people who have been through this horrible process.

I'm sorry you are having to go through this too. Good luck tomorrow. Give yourself time to grieve. In real life most people do not talk very much about miscarriage but more people go through it than you expect.

I had the same surgery a few weeks ago. Emotionally it was a very sad time but physically it was fine. Big hugs

Hi Kat, I'm so sorry, offering a hand to hold, I have very recently had a complete molar pregnancy, I had terrible nausea and breast pain too right up until I had erpc. It's an awful shock, will be thinking of you tomorrow

I'm sorry this has happened to you Flowers

I've had MMC myself so can symphathise on how you can be floored by the news (I also had the nausea and the bump). You've spent weeks starting to plan for what a baby will mean and now you need to unwind all those thoughts. It's horrible.

Take care of yourself for the next few days at least - and if you work take some time off. There's been threads where people have felt guilty about not returning to work straightaway as they are not "ill" - but you need time to deal with what's happened both emotionally and physically.

I'm not sure if you've decided what your next steps will be - but again there are threads that you will probably find helpful - and you can always post again if you have questions.

Thank you everyone I'm having a bit of a rough few days. Wednesday the day after surgery I felt surprisingly ok but I feel dreadful now. I'm sure it will get better. Xx
