Positive Opk day after AF?

Hi, some advice would be very much appreciated. I had a mmc in Mid Dec bled for 2 and a half weeks. I've just finished my 1st AF since the miscarriage and am on cd9 of my cycle. I started using cb digital ovulation tests on cd6 and have negative readings on each day. However, I've just tested now cd9 and I've got a smiley come up. I'm very confused as it seems very early - I normally ovulate cd17. I know your first cycle after a mmc can be all over the place but this seems excessively early. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry I realised maybe this might not be the right place to post this - just wondering about the affect of mc on future cycles.

The hormone responsible for ovulation can be released quite slowly and you may get positives for a few days. Plus your sysyem may be just settling down after the mmc.

Why do you think you ov on day 17? Do you chart? If not then it i's good to do. Really get to understand your cycle.

Are you ttc? If so just go for it! You effectively have the green light.

Thanks for the response. Before my mc I monitored for a few cycles and seemed to ovulate around cd17. Yes we're trying to conceive again but my Dh has been away all weekend and isn't back until late tonight - I'm panicking that we'll miss the boat!

If you have a positive opk I think you have a 48 hr window. Check the packet! I am going back a couple of years but I knew all there was to know about ttc!

Good luck and sorry about your mmc. I've been there and basically it's shit.
