Ectopic pregnancy advice please

Hi,
I chose not to post this within the ectopic thread as it seems a bit of a minefield to navigate and more re emotional support and I just want to know a few practical things (at the moment).
I had laparoscopy and tube removal 4 days ago (seems longer!) for an ectopic pregnancy found at 7 weeks, after I had an episode of near-fainting at work. My wounds are slowly healing, have had a few pains in the affected (left) side, and I feel like I've got quite a bit of energy (though am trying not to do too much). Been passing some old brown blood which I think is normal however today I feel like I've got a period, but isn't it too soon? Passing moderate amounts of fresh blood (no more than a period) and have that general achey period-pain type feeling in my lower abdomen. Just want to know anyone knows if this increase in bleeding is normal at this stage please?
thanks, VC

hi vc sorry to hear your sad news, so upsetting for you. I suffered an almost identical story six years ago. I don't recall much about bleeding after but recommend you speak to doctor or nurse to reassure you. Take care.

Hi chicken, sorry to hear you've through it, it's rubbish I know. I didn't bleed much after my surgery and took a few weeks to have a period. I 'd call your Epau or GP to get it checked out. Hope you recover quickly.

And you're v welcome to come on the EP thread and ask anything you like. I know it's a bit long and it just seems like one long conversation but people pop in and out all the time.
