I'm 6+1 and have started bleeding bright red blood and a few small clots. Also have cramping pains. GP and EPU are now closed until the morning :(
Sorry, just need some company and to offload :(

Thank you!
Before DS (2.0) I had 2 mmc but have never experienced the worry and stress of bleeding before.
I really hope things work out ok for you.

Hope it turns out ok hotcross . The waiting is awful, but remember that whilst bleeding can obviously mean something, it is often unexplained and means nothing.

I have just come off the Due December thread Sad, but there are people on there who had bleeds around the 6 week mark and everything is still fine for them.

FX for you too.

Quick update and request for people's thoughts on what's currently happening...

EPU wouldn't see me until Monday (tomorrow) so have an appointment for 9.50am. Bleeding stopped about 11am Thurs, then started again Thurs evening but had stopped again by Fri morning.

I was starting to think all was well but just started bleeding again about half an hour ago and got some really bad cramping pains too :( Bleeding not horrendous but more than just spotting, it's the cramps that are bad.

Just wish I knew what was happening :(

Hi hotcrossSES, I really hope you're okay. I know its hard but try to keep positive until you've had a scan. I personally know a few friends who had bleeding in early pregnancy but still went on to have healthy babies. I really hope that you get good news tomorrow. x

Thank you - bleeding settled down at about 7pm and I've just spent the evening resting in bed with the BAFTAs on. Worried about tomorrow but will at least (hopefully!) know what is happening then.

Not great news. Although cervix closed, vague flicker of a hb and potential foetal pole, sac irregular and baby measuring too small. They expect me to mc naturally within a week. Have appointment to go back next Tuesday.

Awe hotcross, sorry to hear that. Did they sound fairly certain that it was not viable? Not that I want to give you false hope, of course, but just that I've googled obsessively a lot over the past 2 weeks and it seems that sometimes early scans aren't 100% reliable.

(although maybe when we're in this limbo, we only want to take in the stories that give us that wee bit of hope, rather than accept the alternative)

Hope you're coping ok.

Thanks - they did sound pretty certain. MW was talking about how they would support my next pregnancy so I think it's pretty inevitable :(

I actually went into work this afternoon as I decided that was preferable to moping at home. Worked as a good distraction. I may just be putting off dealing with it fully until the inevitable happens but it worked for this afternoon!

I just wish I knew when the inevitable was going to happen though and hoping it's not in the middle of an important meeting or anything.

DH has been great and we sat in the car park at the hospital for an hour crying and hugging. He also picked DS up from nursery for me and bought me some flowers which he got DS to bring in and give me.

They were really lovely at the EPU too and gave us the best photo from the scan.

No further bleeding yet but feeling a bit crampy.

That was lovely of your DH, bless him.

Thank goodness you have a good EPU too. I have also been lucky that way, but others aren't from the sounds of it. Makes a huge difference too.

It takes time to come to terms with, but you will. Having a supportive DH and precious ds will help. Venting on here can help too!

Hope the coming week are as painless as they can be. x
