Minimal? Unless it's something like listeriosis, which let's face it, it won't be! I have spent months looking into all the things that might have caused my mcs, but stomach upset hasn't made it onto the list. It is completely understandable that you are freaked out and worried though. Wash your hands regularly (not obsessively) and get someone else to clean the toilet?

When I had a mmc in Jan I'd had an upset stomach (there was a D&V bug going around work) around the time that my baby must have stopped growing. I'd also had a raised temp and was literally dripping in sweat. My Dr said an upset stomach would be highly unlikely to cause a miscarriage but that a fever can.

Two other women at work also miscarried within a week of my mmc, one also a mmc at exactly same stage mine was. I asked my Dr if there could have been a link, like the D&V bug but he thought it unlikely.

Hi there i just wanted to say when i was 16weeks pregnant with my son my daughter caught such a bad stomach bug from school she ended up in hospital for 3 days which i also caught but i went on to have a healthy baby. A friend of mine has just had a baby girl and she was unlucky to have 2 stomach bugs but all was fine. I hope this is of help to you, all the best.
