How long to conceive again after mc?

How long did it take you to conceive again after mc? Been trying 3 months now-mc in Nov at 5+5, first pregnancy- no luck. Read lots about being more fertile after mc but doesn't seem to be true for me!
Trying not to stress but we were ttc for a year before mc and really don't want to wait another year, nearly 37 as it is! All around seem to be pregnant too which doesn't help much:)

Hi I have had 7 mc's recent ones being a mc on 6th August last year and then fell pregnant mid November, I suppose it all depends on the person to be honest. They do say after a mc it is best to wait until you have had your first proper period after a mc before ttc but I know a lot of people don't wait and fall pregnant within a few weeks to a few months.

Hope this helps.

All the best

I had a mmc in eary December, pg again by early January - I had a 'normal' period after the ERPC and got pregnant straight after.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. Hard not to wish it would hurry up and happen-really trying to chill about it! Does seem like everyone is pregnant at the moment- must be like when you get a new car and then see tonnes exactly the same, though you never did before!
Hope everything goes great for you all xxx

Minnie,
I've never found the research that found that you are more fertile after a miscarriage. I think it's a myth and quite a cruel one (unintentionally cruel of course!)

It took us 9 months to conceive our first, which we sadly lost, and I conceived on my fourth cycle after that mc.

I know how hard it is after suffering a loss. Every period really hurt me and I only had three.

Really good luck gor your next attempt.

6 months and then 2 months. Each time trying new things though (eg preseed, charting)

I miscarried last March at 7+ weeks after 2 months of TTC - I'd had intermittant spotting since AF and also didn't have any particular symptoms so wasn't completely surprised as it "never felt right". Early scan revealed the sac and bean had stop developing at 5 weeks.

I followed the advice and didn't try for the next month.
Conceived again in January - now 8+ weeks and trying hard not to worry about it happening again.

I totally agree with your comments about suddenly noticing everyone else conceiving - 5 friends have fallen within

First proper cycle - was like a loon though - charting, OPK's, no end of supplements, daily sex in run up to ov. Feel very lucky. 18 weeks so far and so far so good. Hopefully works soon for you.

I had my mmc in beginning of Dec 10 and we waited a month. Have been trying since and this month have had 3 faint bfp's which are getting fainter and a very light period so think I'm having another mc (albeit v early but it makes me equally sad). Why cant I just wait until I'm very late for my period to take a test!!! Think its going to take us a while. Good luck to you though I hope it happens soon xx

after MMC#3 (ERPC) I'm on cycle 6 and no BFP yet :(

Good luck.
