am i pregnant again after miscarriage

Hi,i am completely goin out of my mind at the moment.story is i mc on 22nov 2010.i bled for a week and that was it.Went for a scan to check all was gone on the 30nov and the sac had got smaller so had to return in a weeks time to c if all had left.wen i went for the scan it had showed that the sac was now gone but a preg test was still showin positive,was told to take another test in 10 days to see if it was neg,i took the test and it was positive still.have not had a period yet and we havent been careful like we were told to be.rand eppc and they said to retest again in 5 days and ring them with the result.I had a wee bit of spottin last weekend but it didnt come to much,i thought it was my period startin but it wasnt.does any1 know how long it takes after a miscarriage for to get a neg result.I was only 6 weeks and they havent offered me blood work.cud i be pregnant again so soon?

so hard to say, very slim chance you may be, you will just have to gritt your teeth and play the waiting game, there is literally nothing else you can do, just try and relax and let time give you the answer

There is a chance that you could again be pregnant.

I had my erpc on 22nd November, from a missed miscarriage and I ovulated two weeks later, so yes you could be.

It takes a while for pregnancy hormones to go from your system sometimes (sometimes only days like me, sometimes weeks or months).

Hang on in there.

The only way to tell if your pregnancy hormones are rising is to have an HCG test at the doctors and another forty eight hours later. this would tell if they are doubling - which would indicate a new pregnancy.

You could be pregnant, i m/c nov 2008 and two weeks after that i was pregnant again!!!!!

hi every1,jst found out im pregnant again,its early days,but am extremely happy and very nervous.have asked my dr to put me off for a few weeks,she was a bit dubious about it but i told her i jst wanted to be at home relaxing,im praying that all will go ok this time round.fingers crossed.

The same thing has recently happened to me. I mc on 16/12 and was pregnant again by 27/12 without ever having a period in between. I'm now somewhere around the 6 week mark, (with adding the 2 weeks on before conception) but it's hard to date it when there's been no period so I'm having a scan at 8 weeks when they should be able to confirm dates.

Like you I've been trying to relax at home. Feeling really nervous, but strangely postive given recent history.

thanku girlies for ur congrats.and congrats 2 u hairyfairylights,i have my first scan on the 17 of feb,it feels like ages away.Having all the classic symtoms tho,like frequent trips to the loo and feelin sickish and some smells are makin me wretch,hope these are all good indications that pregnancy is on the right track.will keep uz updated on everything.

Had a scan 2day becuz of sum crampin and all went well.measurin at 6 weeks even tho dates are 5wks and 5 days,was so reassuring seeing and hearing babys heartbeat,i cant quit smiling.
