Can hot flushes feel like the start of a cold?

For the last few days I've felt mildly feverish - raised temperature and aching legs. But I'm not ill. It's just occurred to me that these could be warm flushes. Anyone else experienced this? It's more noticeable when I'm in bed.

I'm the right age and periods are rare.
