Hi I am on day 10 of 12 days of the progesterone and am starting to have a withdrawal bleed - should I still take the two days left.

Does anyone know

Thank you

I'd say it doesn't matter either way. You are already taking quite a lot anyway- some women take 10 days every 8 weeks. So if you take 12 days every 4 weeks your lining should be protected. Did your dr tell you that Utrogestan is poorly absorbed- so you might start bleeding early when the level falls? If this happened on day 6 or 7 then you should take the rest but 2 days won't matter now.

No she didn't tell me anything. looks like its just spotting anyway. I am hoping it will settle as its only month 2. its better than last month then it was 8 days early. At least I am being to feel like I am getting there at last

On Utrogestan you have to be prepared for spotting or the bleeding to be a bit erratic over the days you are taking it because it's poorly absorbed. This could happen every month. But the upside is you should have fewer side effects from that progestin compared with other kinds.

That's interesting, is that why we take it at night with no food. I did wonder why.

Yes. You take it at night because it's known for causing drowsiness and no food to help it be absorbed.
I am REALLY surprised that your dr doesn't tell you all of this- it's negligent- and a shame you have to come to a forum for answers! maybe next time you see them you ought to challenge them and ask why you weren't told about poor absorption, risk of erratic bleeding etc.
