Help 7 weeks on combined hrt having changed from patches to gel - i have started a period aa week before i should This something to worry aobut

It really annoys me you know that drs don't talk to their patients about all of this. Do they just hand out stuff and not even discuss the effects and what to expect? It's not good enough!!! They're getting paid enough- they need to shape up!

But no, you don't IMO need to worry. Any change in formulation might cause bleeding. It's possible you can bleed if your new dose is lower or not being absorbed well. Are you applying it correctly? What dose are you on compared to the patch?

Spoke to Doc said because I had changed from patches to gel and tabs half way through first month should expect bleeding. I have now been changed to a progesterone that I need to take at night as I was getting terrible anxiety on it so probably have another change.

See what you mean about not telling you anything the new tabs said take on 15 to 26 of your cycle yet she told me to take the for 14 days of each cycle - I am going by the pharmacist instructions - I think?
