Honestly, today I could just rip someone's head off. My (lovely) dh has come in the room and I could just stab him for being there. It's such an awful symptom - does anyone else feel like this Angry

Nope not just you - it's horrible being enraged. I am 48 and had the blood tests that show I'm well into the perimenopause. GP said this is the worst bit but as I'm still having periods even though they are well spaced out and irregular, I'm sure he's lying.

My symptoms currently are: rage, tears, achy hip and knees, thin skin, flaky eyelids, generally feeling miserable and fatigue. Excellent Grin

I am 41 and my doc won't test me. But I am guessing looking at your symptoms it's on the cards. The only different s is I don't go more than 10 day between period and they are heavy. It's good to know I am not going mad

I was about 43 when I started the flooding nonsense. Then it petered out a bit and I had some hot flushes at night where I'd woken up dripping but those things sort of happened one symptom at a time and my dr prob wouldnt have tested either. You aren't going mad - have you ever read this? I cried the first time I read it, I felt so relieved even though it's a bit twee It's shit being old Grin
