my bpm was raised at the gym (before workout) today although i am not surprised as i have lately noticed racing heart sometimes. had this a few years ago, got heart checked out, all fine, down to anxiety. feeling anxious alot, then if i notice my heart, or go looking for the heart beat then it makes it worse so you wonder, was my heart racing and now i am nervous or was it racing BECAUSE i am nervous. i am 47 and am assuming it is anxiety probably made worse byt he fact i seem to be getting alot of peri' symptoms lately, joy. just wondered. i have bought a bpm watch for the gym and for when i wake up in the morning to see what my resting rate is, i had a watch previously but it got pinched from the gym. my blood pressure is good and i wasn't stressing during the workout, quite a good one actually :) sometimes i really think it is a nightmare being a women, or being me, probably both (i am a worrier)
