About time! It was never properly used for what it was created, although I'm going to miss the images accessibility it currently has.

I thought that you were going to rename this topic random photos so that people could put up random photos about stuff they wanted to discuss

Will the old member profiles be deleted ?

Can't we have a "photos" topic so that those who don't want to create a member profile but want to ask a "Yeuch, look what I found in my garden/bed/kids toybox - what the hell is it??" type question without having to create a profile specially - can do so?

I think there is still a demand for a photo section, for the situations already given.

Where will we be able to post our huge spiders in the bath then? Or unusual diseases of herbaceous plants? Seriously, it is useful to have a place to post photos - and I'd hate anyone to think that spider was me .

What I would really like is to be able to post a message but then choose whether I wanted it to stay on my list of 'threads i'm on'.
This one, for example, will irritate me when it's still lurking later in the week and I have no intention of posting another message.

but what I really meant by labelling as child of the 60s were names like Jane, Janet, Julie, Alison, Claire, Judith, Fiona, Melanie, Beverley, Sheila, Penny, Wendy...
