lol wots, nah this is for my mum, i just wanted to see if it could be done. she wanted to take it down the caravan.
right ok, this is not recommended to do.
you need a good thick bleach, and an old tooth brush, some gloves, an old cloth to protect surfaces, old clothes to wear and rubber gloves. work i na weel ventilated area.
remove the fabric from frame.
check for colour fastness.
Then literally pour bleach on, and scrub hard. rinse all the bleach off, and rinse again. then wash with soda crystals. leave to dry. its now outside airing, as it still has a hint of bleach smell. I am hoping it gets frosty tonight as that will clear any smells and lingering bleachy fumes apparently. you could also put it out in the rain.
Someone said about soaking it in milton to remove mould spores so that will also be done before it gets used, and will be aired well again.

you can also try bathroom mildew remover spray, or hydrogen peroxide.
